(Link's POV)

I woke up from my slumber, but I was in the forest, like last night. I looked at my clothes, all torn up, then I felt my face. I felt a wound on it, stinging once I touched it. I began searching around for a pond, then found Faron's Spring. Heading for it, I heard something in the distance as I examined the wound I had on my mouth to my cheek, making sure it was clean. I saw a young woman, her hair silver hued, her eyes were amber yellow. "Uh, hi?," I began heading for the young woman, hanging around in the treetops. She smiled,"Hi Link. I heard about your arrival in Faron a few nights ago." I jolted,"Wait! How'd you know my name?! Who are you?" She headed down toward my level, meeting face to face with her,"Don't you remember? We met a few nights ago, you and I." I was still bewildered,"I don't understand. I just woke up from-" "A dream? Not correct, though. You woke up from your forest self.," she interfered me. I cocked my head, making her laugh even more,"You still don't get it, don't you? Link, you're one of us! You're a wolf!" I was still confused,"No, I think I'm dreaming. I think I hit my head on the ground too hard from the last nights ago-" She placed her finger on my mouth, shushing me, then stopped, looking at me,"Link, you don't know your fate, don't you?" "What fate? At least tell me your name, first!," I stomped my foot hard on the ground. She laughed at me again,"Well, might as well tell you. Anyway, I already know your name, but not mine. Name's Kannon! Also, follow me!" I saw her heading away from the spring, and from me, making me jolt,"Hey! Wait up Kannon!"

(Ilia's POV)

I was worried about Link, not knowing where he was. I checked my leg, feeling better each day. My father told me that it'd be time to remove the bandage because it needed some air. I still worried for my friend, Link, lost in the forests of Faron, but he knows the ways of the forest. I heard a knock on my bedroom door, and saw Colin. I was a bit surprised,"Colin? What're you doing here? Did you find Link?" He didn't answer me, looking down toward his feet. "Well? Did you find him?," I wanted to know the truth. He finally gazed into my eyes,"No, we didn't find him, and my father's hurt. His shoulder is wounded because of a wolf attack." I was shocked,"Wolf attack!? Where? Deep in the woods? Who told you this?!" "No one did! I saw it with my very eyes!," I saw him stomp his foot. I was a bit alarmed,"Oh my! Father! Father! Rusl's hurt!" I heard my father coming,"What's wrong? Is it Link? Something came to him?" "No, Rusl's injured due to a wolf attack! Can you go on and see him? I hope he's alright!," I became worried sick about Rusl, almost losing my worry of Link. My father became surprised,"Oh dear! I'll go see him after I get your bandage off your leg. Now, hold still." My father carefully removed my bandages, making sure to let my wound was stable, then smiled,"You're all done. Now, be careful, Ilia. I don't want you placing to much pressure on your injury." I smiled back, then nodded,"Okay. I'll go see Rusl now, and I think you should, too." My father nodded while crossing his arms,"Alright, I'll come." He took my hand, making sure that I was stable.

By the time we made it to Rusl's house, I saw him lying down, his shoulder raised a bit. I came to him slowly,"Hi, Rusl, how're you feeling?" Uli came to me while placing a damp rag on Rusl's head,"He's fine right now, and he's resting. He'll be alright by the next few weeks." I nodded ",I see...Have you seen-" "Link's back!," I saw Talo rush onto Rusl's house quicker than I thought. All of us were shocked. I became excited,"Link's back!? I gotta go see!" I rushed outside quickly, noticing my leg was alright, then headed for Link,"Link! Link, I missed you!" Link jolted when he saw me,"Ilia, slow down! You're gonna- Yikes!" I toppled him onto his back, breathing heavily while in joy,"Link, I missed you! Where were you?! You made me worry sick!" "Look, I'm sorry that I made you worry so badly.," he blushed while squeezing me hard, picking me up carefully onto my feet. I pulled myself away from his body,"It's okay. I needed the time alone anyway. I needed my leg, and after a while, it's all better.," I began hopping on my wounded leg, but I stopped, feeling a bit of pain come from my leg. Link caught me,"It seems like you're not fully recovered. Wait a little longer, okay?" I nodded,"Okay, but something's went wrong last night. While getting Colin back from a beast, he got injured in the shoulder. He's resting right now, so no going inside, okay?" "Wait! A beast hit Rusl? What'd it look like?," I saw Link's eyes widened in shock. "We don't know. All we know is that it transformed into a wolf and attacked him harshly. Colin saved him just in time, telling that monster to leave. Also, where were you?," I became upset again. He turned away, facing the forest border, ignoring me, then answered with his back against me. I came toward him, noticing the tattoos on his face and hands,"Link, where'd you get those tattoos?" He didn't listen to me, again looking at the forest, his eyes glaring in the sunlight, clenching his fists, still ignoring me. I cocked my head, wondering what was going inside his head, then stroked his cheek, displaying a tattoo of a moon hidden in shadows. He headed for the forest, following this secret path that was hidden from my eyes. "Link, wait!," I started to follow him, then bumped into him. He stopped walking, then glanced at me, his eyes not even blinking, then continued to walk toward the forest. I began to follow him again, keeping up with him. I tried to confront him, but nothing. He just avoided me, and kept walking. I jolted, feeling an aura like never before. I heard a voice, calling to me, telling me to come. I took Link's hand, making sure that I'd be protected while looking up at him. I saw his eyes, becoming glass hued, not a single piece of his eye remained as it vanished away.

I felt Link stop, seeing a young woman, her eyes staring at him. She came to him, seeing the tattoos on him, then nodded. She came towards me, examining me, then slightly growled. Link took my hand, talking to the young woman in a foreign language that I couldn't understand. Whatever he was saying, I guess he was explaining about my health or something. The woman agreed with Link, letting me into a different piece of the forest that I've never seen before. I saw nothing, but darkness surrounded us. I couldn't feel anything under my feet, not even the soft grass of Faron. Link scooped me into his arms, carrying me while not a single grunt or even his mouth moved a bit, keeping silent. He kept his blank eyes at me or somewhere in the pitch darkness that surrounded us. He stopped dead in his tracks, then placed his head down while placing me down. I glanced ahead of me, seeing a statue of a wolf, looking like it was growling at me. I stepped back, feeling my fear rise. I saw a blinding light come out of the statue. I covered my eyes, then became shocked. I saw a spirit come out, breathing life from the outside world, then opened it's eyes, looking at Link's blank eyes. The male spirit came toward Link, one ghostly step after the next, his ghostly eyes coming closer to me. I felt his ghostly life, his aura giving me the freeze of a frightened deer, standing frozen in fear. He came toward Link, examining his tattoos, his body, his eyes were almost like the full moon when I looked at them. He then saw me, then examined my body, moving my face, examining me like an animal, then released me from his grip. I felt my cheeks, bleeding slightly from his ghostly claws that touched me. He saw me rubbing my cheeks, then slapped me hard while growling, making me fall to the ground. I looked at Link, standing still, then looked at me, his eyes shining in the darkness, scaring me. Was he dead? Was he alive? Was he brainwashed? All these questions went through me as the beast-like spirit growled at me, then stopped, noticing my wounded leg. I saw him head toward Link, silently whispering in his ear so quietly that I couldn't even hear it. I saw Link nod in agreement, then he picked me up onto my feet. The spirit came to me again, but he was looking at my injured leg. He ordered Link in a foreign language while pointing his finger. I saw Link turn around and leave me behind. "What're you doing to Link? release him at once.," I began to cry in frustration. I felt him come to me, then took my hand, covering in his hands, muttering something under his breath, then released my hands, revealing a tattoo on it. I became shocked, seeing the elegance inside it, then felt Link's presence, making me turn. Link handed the spirit a bottle that contained some kind of plant or even element to the spirit. While saying his language, he placed the plant on my wounded leg, then released it from his hand, letting it fall on and into my skin, heading toward the bone. I cringed, but he seized me, holding my hand while smiling, not attempting to frighten me, though, then pulled himself away, heading back toward his resting place. I felt a wind come, pulling us back, and I fell asleep, to dream...
