(Link's POV)

I headed to Faron Woods with Colin on my side, also making sure he was safe and sound. The forest brought peace to my heart. I didn't know what I was gonna run into. All I had was Colin and that was it, but a few pieces of food were on our supply. I stopped, listening to the forest's voice, calling me, then looked down at Colin,"Let's rest for awhile and eat." He smiled, then sat down close to a tree stump. I got out our supply of food, and handed Colin a ration of meat. I laid on my back, looking up at the canopy of the forest. "Link, why'd you bring me here?," Colin came to me suddenly, but calmly in approach. "It's just...," I started, but I desired not to tell him, but I did,"...The forest seems to call me sometimes. I just feel this aura, like Faron is whispering close in my ear, telling me to come to the forest. I feel his presence near me." Colin looked at me funnily, but quite interested of what I was saying to him,"Really? That's a calm feeling. I usually don't see that in you, Link. I think you matured over time, haven't you?" I looked up into the canopy, than at Colin,"Yeah, I guess I did. Time's changed a lot ever since I lived in Hyrule Castle with Zelda. I can't see her right now at the moment." "Why?," Colin wanted to know the truth. "Well, I can't really say, though, but you desire to know, then I'll tell you. She's ill right now and I gotta find an herb called the Miracle Herb. It has the abilities to heal the wounded and cure the diseased ones. It's hard to find, though. I gotta look around for it. That's why I've been staying here.," I had to be honest with the truth. Colin was surprised,"Zelda's ill? I hoped she feels better soon. Can you tell her that?" I smiled,"I will..." Colin smiled,"Good, and that's a promise! Make sure you keep it, alright?" "Alright, Colin...," I smirked childishly. "Link, why're you smiling?,"  Colin looked at me, confused. "I'm 'it'!," I attempted to grab him like I did the middle of the afternoon with Talo. He laughed while he sprinted away from me, attempting to escape me. I hid behind a tree, hoping to blend in with the surrounding thickets, giving him a false sense of relief. I crept toward him, but I jolted. I looked at the sun, setting down toward the horizon. I began to breathe heavily as I held my chest. I saw my hands turning white as snow, making me shocked in the appearance of the hue! My heart began to beat faster, my ears throbbed along with it! I gazed at Colin, then quickly left, stumbling onto my hands and knees. I couldn't feel anything! My heart began beating faster, faster than last night! I felt my body go towards the unbearable pain! Was I dying? If I was, why am I moving like this?! I screamed in agony, in pain, feeling my body sway, then stop. I fell down, fast asleep.

(Colin's POV)

"Link! Link! Where are you? I thought you were playing with me!," I called out to Link a few times, but no response came to me. I suddenly jolted,"Wait! Link's gone! I gotta tell father!" I started heading out of the forest, heading for the village, but I stopped, hearing the leaves rustle. I started to feel frightened by the forest, but I didn't. I remained calm, listening to the wind. My father told me that the wind carries messages through the leaves. I remembered, and listened to the wind whisper in my ear, then opened my eyes. The wind carried an aura like never before! I began heading for the village, hoping to tell my father the news, but I stopped again, listening to the wind's voice. I listened carefully, hearing the wind speak to me, then opened my eyes again. I climbed up a tree, hiding in the leaves, then held still. I saw a wolf, searching around for something. I heard it growling, its eyes wanted something. I noticed my bag, having a piece of meat inside, then smiled. Taking it out slowly, the meat was still tender when it was finally pulled out. I let it drop out of my hand, landing towards the ground. I went a bit lower, but still kept my distance, seeing the animal eat my piece of meat that I dropped for it. "That's it. Eat up while I'm minding my own business.," I began to climb down the tree, keeping my distance from the wild dog. I saw it eating up the piece, tearing it to shreds, then swallowed it down, licking his mouth in satisfaction. I smiled at the sight, and it gave me an advantage to escape, but I heard a growl. I turned, seeing the wolf glare at me. "It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you.," I began to coax it, but it kept growling at me, but it stopped, looking at me. I thought I was gonna get eaten, but it came to me slowly. I smiled, seeing it's anger coming down toward a silence,"It's alright. It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you." The wolf cocked its head at me, then closed its eyes. I saw a light come toward him, making me cover my eyes. I felt no light, making me open my eyes. I was surprised by the sight! I saw no wolf, but a human with features of an animal! "Who are you?," I was in shock and awe all at the same time. I saw him look at me, his eyes gazing down at me. He turned, then growled at something. I attempted to take a peek, then saw my father,"Father! I can explain!" "Colin, get away from that demon! Release my son immediately, demon!," I saw my father draw his sword. I saw the person growl like a wild dog,"Saya tidak dirasuk syaitan dari neraka, manusia! Saya tidak menimbulkan ancaman kepada manusia yang anda inginkan selama ini! Kembali dari hutan dan tidak ada yang tercedera oleh gigi saya!" I had little to know idea on what he said to my father, but my father stood still, attempting to get the person that stood beside me,"Release my son from your hands!" I saw the male-like human go onto his hands and knees, growling aggressively,"Saya itu tidak mengganggu anda, manusia, tetapi anda lakukan untuk saya! Jangan ganggu saya! Jika anda tidak, maka nasib anda hendaklah dimeteraikan oleh saya!" I saw my father not move an inch. "Sesuai dengan diri sendiri, manusia!," I heard  him howl, the wind carrying his message to wherever he desired it, then began stalking toward my father, growling at him as he turned into a wolf. "Father! Don't! Stop it!," I attempted to call him back, but he didn't. I blinded myself, then heard a cry. I opened my eyes, seeing my father pinned against the ground. I began running toward the creature,"Stop it! He's my father! Stop!" He listened to me, then looked back at me, but he wasn't. He saw something coming, then ran off into the woods. I headed toward my father, his shoulder wounded from the battle,"Father! Don't leave me!" He smiled,"I'm fine, my son. Help me up." I smiled back, then helped him back up onto his feet. I saw his shoulder, wounded from the claws of that wolf human creature. What was that animal? I thought and thought, but nothing came to me as I helped my father back to the village. I looked down, avoiding my father's eyes,"I'm sorry, father. This is all my fault, isn't it?" "No, my son, it wasn't. If it wasn't for you, he would've gotten me. Thank you, Colin.," he lifted my chin, letting him see him smile. I smiled back at him, heading towards the village.
