"I have uh, let's see, Mockingjay Part 1, Insurgent, High School Musical 3..." I continued saying movie titles as I scanned through our CD case.

Zaya and Luey were lying on the couch, spending time with their delightully helpful phones.

It's almost been a year since Luey and I got together- and I must say, they might be counted as the happiest months in my life.

All this time, wasted on people that don't even give a damn about me and my movies. I rolled my eyes, then placed my hands on my hips.

I started to tap my foot when they still continued tapping away on their phones and did not even notice me.

"Excuse me, Menzies. It was your plan to watch a stupid movie. Now when I let you choose a movie, you," I pointed my index finger to both of them, "You, don't even bother to pay attention to my existence."

Luey obviously noticed I was pissed off and so he handed me his phone, while Zaya put her's down.

"I'm sorry, Sweetheart. Got carried away by GTA. Promise I won't do it again," he apologized, kissing my forehead with all cute sadness and puppy eyes.

Zaya's phone suddenly rang. As she looked at the screen, her eyes grew a billion times larger than normal. Then she mouthed a name. Jason? Brandon? I don't know.

"Are you okay, Sis?"

"Zaya, what's the-"

"I- it's nothing. Just uh, probably the fire- I mean 911 called me- I mean, nevermind. I gotta go right now."

"Zaya-", I started, but before I could take it all in, she practically teleported outside our house.

"Byeeeeee...", her ringing voice slowly faded as she trotted away.

Luey and I looked at each other.

"911 called her?"

He stretched his arms and relaxed, "I don't know, Letty. What I do know is that I love you and I'm glad that it's just us now."

Huh, play with my heart all you want, Zach.

It's yours, anyway.

"Okay, Breezy. What do you wanna watch?"

We ended up watching Finding Nemo, just out of boredom. We were cuddled up in one couch, ignoring the fact that there were 3 more.

After the movie, he went home. At the exact moment he left, my parents had arrived. We had a festive time, and my dad was probably under his not-so-rare 'Pasta' mood, because he cooked Fettucini and Pesto Pasta for dinner.

"Ahh, I love life," I sighed in behalf of my full appetite, giving Cap bits of pasta.

My mom heard it because it was pretty audible, "Well, well, well. Someone's happy today," she winked at me teasingly.

"Mom. Is it bad to love life?"

In our house, the living room is between the stairs and the dining room. So after dinner, as I headed towards my room upstairs, I noticed something on the couch.

A striped black and white sweater lay on the couch messily. Luey must have forgotten it. Although, it's too late in the night to return it to him.

I picked it up and carried it with me, as I decided that I'd return it in the morning.

As I entered my room, I placed his sweater on the table. Before sleeping, I cehcked my phone.
