Chapter 7

I figured I should go with a happy ending. This is my first story anyway, so I'm just gonna start fresh.

Maria hugged Marco's almost-lifeless body so tight, it made him choke.
"Wh-what are you..? TOFFEE? HELP! I can't move! My body feels so weak, and.." Marco said,. his words fading.
"Marco's alive!!" Jackie exclaimed.
"Not the Marco I know.." Maria sighed.
She broke into tears, leaning on Comet's shoulder.
"A-at least we got the cure for both of them!" Comet said, holding up the antidote and the green latch of paper Toffee offered Star a few hours ago.
"The cure!!" Maria said, delighted.
Tori took the green patch of paper and slightly rubbed it against the bloody wound on Tom's body. Tom's eyes fluttered open. He gasped for air, clutching at his neck. Soon, he calmed down, and eyed Marco worriedly."Is he sleeping? Or is he.."

"I'm not DEAD!" Marco weakly retorted.
"Toffee's dead."
"YOU KILLED MY FATHER?! When I begin to move I swear I will--mff!!"
Marco's voice became muffled when Maria shoved her (shoved her what? what? what?)

..when Maria shoved the antidote (A/N: Thought it was "lips," did you? XD) into Marco's mouth, making him choke. Marco flailed his arms in the air in complaint, "What the--mff--this is---mff--gah!"

"Just hold still.." Maria said, then pulled out the bottle."How do you feel?"
Marco shook his head, then spat the liquid out, rubbing his lips."What kind of water was that??! It tasted like toilet water!! Are you trying to KILL me?!"

"No! It's the exact opposite! H-how do you feel?" Maria asked.
"Mad," Marco said, glaring at Maria,"You killed my father, Toffee! UGH!"
"It's not working," Tom noted.
"I noticed!" Maria growled.
"Toffee tricked us," Tori said,"He knew we would eventually kill him, so he tricked us into thinking this was the antidote."
Marco quickly stole Maria's dagger."Back off!!" He threatened, sitting up with all his strength against the wall.
"Hey! That's mine!" Maria complained.
"Not anymore," Marco growled.
Maria shook her head."Why am I going to do this..? I guess this is goodbye, Marco. Just.. one last hug."

"One last WHAT?" Marco said, horrified.
Too late, he found Maria hugging him tightly, tears streaming down her cheeks. He was so outraged with her guts that he actually impaled her using his dagger, and Maria collapsed on the floor.

"I don't care if you impale me," She said, smile-sobbing,"You're still my twin. I love you, and that's all that matters. I-I-we need you. S-star needs you."
And with that, Maria's head lolled back. The last thing she heard was Comet's voice get watery, screaming her name, and she saw Marco collapse
with her.
