SURPRISE CHAPTER!!

Three days after the battle...

Marco and Star were talking with Comet through Star's magic mirror in her room. So far, Marco's parents weren't that capable of accepting the fact their daughter WAS alive, and Marco met her, but she died in the end.

Comet was telling Star about the new friends he made, and all the commotions he caused in the kingdom, making Star smile. Sometimes, when Star would drift off to think about Maria and start tearing up, Comet would crack a joke and Marco and Star would start laughing.

Even though Comet did crack jokes, sadness was very obvious in his eyes. Comet was royally dressed, probably for some kind of event, until one of the guards went screaming like crazy.

Comet turned to look behind him, eyes widening.
"What was that?" Star asked, holding her breath.
"The Chamber of Heroes have been compromised and sabotaged," Comet said urgently,"Someone's breaking in and entering, I think."
"Oh no! Wouldn't you-wouldn't you go check it out?" Marco asked.
"I'm not allowed to go out of my room during after-lunches. So.. basically, I can't."

"Nah, just ignore it!" Star said,"Probably just one of Ludo's plans. And they're ALWAYS foiled."
"Hey.." Comet said, clasping his hands together."Do you still miss Maria?"
A stab on the back would have been less painful.

Marco started tearing up again, and so did Star. "Y-yes.." Marco sobbed.
"You should," Comet said, and he was beginning to tear up as well."The world probably has better things planned for--"
Suddenly, the door burst open, and someone stepped inside.
Star, Comet, and Marco's eyes widened with fear, shock, and confusion. When they opened their mouths, the only word that came out was,"MARIA??!"

I can't believe I'm ending this, but you know, I could probably do a sequel or something. That is, if you'd like one.
