I looked around, hoping to catch a glance of whoever put this in my locker. I was hoping they were watching but nobody seemed to even notice anything or look in my direction.

I knew this was secret Santa but I was dying to know who did this. I was praying it wasn't a hoax. The only other person who could have given me anything would be Adam.

"Thanks for the present Adam!" I say when I see him.

Adam sighed. "Dang it! How did you know?"

"I found it in my locker!" I felt so happy that it was him and that I found out who gave it to me.

But then Adam frowned. "In your locker? I didn't put anything in your locker. I just wanted to give you this." He pulled out a rectangular silver box and handed it to me.

I backed up and refused. "No thank you." I now felt frustrated that the gift from before  was still a mystery.

"Take it." He shoved it towards me.

"Fine let's see." I took it and opened the box to find a row of beautiful hijab pins. They were in different colors and had gems. They were just beautiful.

"Those are for your," he pointed to his head and made a circular motion, "scarf thingy."

"They are beautiful." I smiled at him. "Thank you but you really shouldn't have."

He waved it off. "Take it as a small thank you gift."

I smiled. "Thanks again."

He smiled back. "No problem. Now let's finish this school tour."

I nodded and stepped forward only to bump into somebody. I looked up and it was Amir. He looks like he was in a bad mood. He didn't even speak but kept moving after glaring at me.

After P.E I changed into my normal clothing. I fixed my hijab but I lost my hijab pin so I decided to put on one of Adams. They were all so pretty so I just picked one and used it.

I slung my backpack on and walked out of the girls changing rooms. I saw a glance of Amir chatting with his friends. They were all laughing and when I passed by the began whispering and laughing. They even said my name. I looked up to give them a dirty look only to see Amir grin. He seemed happy and content they were doing this crap.

I didn't mind it and headed my way. I hated them and Amir even more for letting his stupid friends bully others below them in financial status. He was the top leader  and if he wanted he could tell them to stop but since he too was rotten, he lets it happen.

Before I knew it Amir was trailing behind me. "Peasant." He said lazily and when I didn't respond he pulled me back. He was about to speak but noticed something on my hijab. He reached for it and quickly pulled the pin I had on. My hijab became looser around my face and it annoyed me.

"Give that back."

He examined it. "Isn't this from your little boyfriend Adam?" He accusingly looked at me.

"He's not my boyfriend." I gritted. That was haram (forbidden) and I wasn't going to get a boyfriend until marriage.

"Huh." He then quickly bent the pin in half. "Cheap stuff anyways. He doesn't know how to woo a lady." Amir scoffed.

My eyes widened and I almost exploded when he bent the pin. "Why did you do that!"

He looked at me. "You seriously care about this?"
