"And this is the library. It's really big and had many books." I stated boringly.

"Right." Adam smiled, almost laughing. He put his hands in his pockets. "Take me inside."

I nodded and ushered him in. I showed him the study room and where to read quietly. As I was walking up to show him the computers, I saw Amir leaning against a shelf that was in front of us, reading a book. His tall and broad figure narrowed my way.

When does Rich Boy read books? I would have believed him except the book was upside down. I rolled my eyes and walked up to snatch the book away.

"Hey!" He rose the book over his head before I could snatch it. I tried to grab for it but he kept holding it up. "Ha, you're so short." He smirked down at me and I stopped. I fixed my shirt and gave him a dirty look.

"Continue reading, but I don't think you'll understand it even if it wasn't upside down." I walked past him and continued to guide Adam but it seemed Amir wasn't through.

He walked over and narrowed his eyes. He scoffed. "Don't tell me you're showing him the library. I'm sure he'll find out himself what it is."

Adam raised an amused brow. "I'm helping him out now if you'll leave I could continue my job." I spoke up to Amir and he eyed me carefully before he turned and strutted away.

"What's his problem?" Adam asked aloud.

"Me." Then me and Adam began laughing.

"I'm home!" I yelled into our small house. My mom was here today so I gave her a hug before grabbing a bowl, filling it with rice , and then leaving.

"Come back safely!" My mom called after me before I walked out the door. I nodded with the tasty hot rice in my mouth.

When I reached the gas station I already had finished my food and I put the bowl under the cash register, ready to start my job.

It was a busy day but it was finally finished. I now had to hurry back home and finish my homework. It was a crazy schedule sometimes but it had to be done.

Today I would be closing the store as the owner went home early. Since he is like an uncle to me he trusted me so much. I'm glad my dad and him were close friends.

I walked out and was about to lock the door when I heard a deep voice. "Already closing?"

Startled, I abruptly turn around. "Damn it Amir!" I held my chest.

"Hey Peasant!" He pointed and angry finger at me. "Watch your mouth."

He then looked around. "You're hear by yourself?"

"Maybe." I looked at him skeptically. If he tried anything I'll kill him for sure.

"Don't you have a phone to call your parents or something? I mean staying this late and-"

I quickly spoke up, he was irritating. "No. Now What are you even doing here anyways?" It annoyed me that I had to see his face even out of school.

"What else?" He pointed to the gas pumps.

"We're closed." I crossed my arms.

He walked closer and, seeing I hadn't closed the door, opened the door. "Not yet." He smirked.

"Fine. But hurry up." I demanded as I walked up and reopened the store.
