Anyway, first of all I want to say, the name for this story took me aaaaaages to finally finalise.

I swear I was struck between calling it "The Scarface and The Songbird" and "Whatever it takes" and "broken"

(Btw calling It the scarface and the songbird is a huuuuuge clue to this story line) plus I scraped that idea because it was too long and a mouthful.

I wanted something that stuck. So I went with "Whatever it takes" but then my brain decided to just hit me with random poetic words and badabing badaboom "Half Of You" popped into my brain.

Gahhh I'm being normal.

Luhan is 19 years old for this story. Please try to remember that. And if by chance anything doesn't add up in age, drop me a comment somewhere and I'll try fix it. School plays a part in this story, and he cannot be 23 and in high school.. So hyung has joined the maknaes lmao

Also very quickly, I cannot speak mandarin nor do I know anyone that can, so any type of mandarin I use, I did through research, so there's a huuuuge possibility its probably wrong.

Please tell me if anything is wrong and I can correct it. It'll be super awkward for anyone reading if I don't >.<

You'll all probably notice a lot of Korean type phrases and rarely anything in mandarin, this is because I'm more familiar with the Korean phrases and their way of speech.

I want to take this opportunity to also ask for a language editor. Since I myself have no idea what in writing is right, I really need a partner to help me with any corrections. Please comment if you can take it up and I'll probably message you.

Also this is my first full story in third person, however there will be odd POVs here and there.
