16.
Luhan had never smiled so much in a day. Throughout the rest of his time at Xia-Mei's home, Luhan and Xia spent their time talking, laughing and joking.
Nothing was wrong, it all felt freakishly right. Perfect infact almost too perfect.
"...but we debuted last year! How could you not have heard about us?" Luhan was bewildered as to how a teenager couldn't have heard of him.

"What's your name again? Tell me. It might ring a few bells." Xia was just teasing. She fought to control the smile on her face as she played clueless. She had heard of exo. Ages ago in fact. She had to have done. The only entertainment she got in her tiny home was the small compact radio by her window, and that, would only work on specific occasions. Constant pop music poured into her home, but she couldn't complain, for the music really made her house seem more like a real home.
Thanks to the posters her female classmates posted in the bathrooms and their lockers at school even knew what all the members looked like.. you could kind of call her a fan? She enjoyed their music enough to dance wildly when no-one was watching. And no-one was ever watching so that only made her shake her hips more.
"Exo. We're called Exo." She could tell Luhan was getting exasperated, his cheeks flushed red and a determined look shone in his eyes.
Xia took a moment to stare at him. Under the dimly lit light of her home, the man sat infront of her was awkwardly beautiful. Awkward for her because she was in complete contrast. Broken and ugly, she sat opposite a polished star.
Luhan smiled at her and she could hear her racing heartbeat ring in her ears. His face shone even more brightly when he smiled and he grew incredibly handsome. It was annoyingly unnerving. She was afraid she'd either blink or wake up and Luhan would disappear. Him even being in her home was surreal.
"Are you guys- like famous?" Xia smiled inwardly, putting on a puzzled tone.
"Yes." Luhan breathed. "We have 12 members, split into two groups- how can you not have heard of us?" He shot her a bewildered look. They were silent for a while, while Xia-Mei shrugged and he sighed. Xia watched as Luhan scanned her home. His eyes landed on something behind her and a smile stretched across his face.
"What is it?" Xia turned around to see what he was looking at but Luhan was too quick. He was already up and retrieving it and Xia watched as he strutted towards the only thing she had been given from her relatives that belonged to he parents, her fathers guitar.
Luhan had it in his hands and plopped down on the floor infront of her.
"I'll play for you to prove it." He smiled. "You might remember something if you hear me sing a verse."
He started strumming the chords to a song Xia knew well. My Turn To Cry.
