When I went out of the Mall, I really don't know what to do so I decided to go to the nearest park. I really don't need to drive there since it is really close.
Scanning the environment whilst walking, I noticed that all the houses here are almost similar to others. I mean I'm not judging. It is just really weird but of course with a creative mind, they made the house more unique.
I was really preoccupied with the surroundings and didn't notice that I have reached the park. There were only a few people here and literally zero kids. I didn't mind though because the less people, the more relaxing.
I sat one of the bench that has been provided and put both of my hands under my thighs so that it warms up. This is what I like. I wish I could do this everyday, just a Me-time and don't mind any work. Well I have work in less than half an hour.
I closed my eyes just for five minutes but I was interrupted with a poke on my cheeks. I furrowed my eyebrows thinking that it could be my imagination. I relaxed back when everything is normal but then another poke went into my nose. I grunted and shot my eyes open, ready to poke back.
I looked to the person, only greeted by a smiling boy showing his two front teeth that the tooth fairy might took. "I thought you were sleeping." He giggled. I could see his tounge wiggling on his gum.
I laughed at his statement. "No. I was actually relaxing my mind." I observed his look and he had this gold specs covered in a light green. He had long, curly eyelashes that made every girls' self esteem dropped to the core of the earth; ME. "I really like your eyes." I said it bluntly.
"I like yours more. It is really hazel-y and had a little honey coloured specs. Just like honey.." I was really surprised that he could explain it in detail. "I wish I could draw them but it's really hard to pick a colour that actually matches your eye colour." He said it with a hint of disappointment in his voice.
I pulled him closer and smiled at him. "How old are you?" I asked curiously.
"I'm 5, coming 6 this next week and my dad has planned a big birthday party so all my friends could come and enjoy!" He clapped his hand full of excitement. "You should come too!" He said it without thinking. My smile dropped a bit.
"I'm sorry but I'm a stranger." I pointed out the truth.
"But you're nice.. and pretty too. Please come!" He pleaded with a puppy eyes. Oh damn! I really can't resist that look.. "Pleaaaaseeee.." He said it and then pouts.
Oh gosh where is his parents?!
"Look, I really can't. What will your parents say when I come? They will probably kick me out." I stated. His puppy look turned into a frown. "No don't be ma-" He ran without giving notice.
I'm a bad person. Even a kid ran away from me just because I rejected his invitation. I sighed and stood up to walk back to the mall.
"Hey!" A person shout. I ignored it, probably calling somebody. "Hey you!" I turned around just to make sure but a woman suddenly ran towards me. Uh oh..
"Hey." She greeted softer than before and little bit breathless. "My son told us to invite you over." When I looked back, the boy and a man which is his father approached me.
"I told them! I asked to invite you over my birthday party next week and they said yes!" He jumped around obviously happy.
I turned to his mother for confirmation as I shot an eyebrow and she nodded. "Here.." She handed me a card. "All the details are in here so please do come." She smiled at me.
