The Stilinski Twins (AU)

Stuart and Stiles.

Stiles and Stuart.

They're known by almost everyone in Beacon Hills as the Sarcastic Duo. They're also known as the Stilinski twins. Everything about them was identical except for the glasses that Stuart wears and their choice of clothing. While Stiles would often prefer flannels and plaid polo shirts, Stuart was more into plain button down polo shirts. Other than that, they can almost be considered as just one human being. Both of them are sarcastic to the point that you sometimes want to tape their mouths with duct tape. Both of them are smart (but Stuart is the more studious one.) Both of them are great when it comes to researching things online.

However, Stuart didn't let the small town of Beacon Hills limit his capabilities. He applied for a scholarship in another town in California, one that is bigger than his old town Beacon Hills. Stiles, on the other hand, stayed in Beacon Hills (which is now being infested with different supernatural beings.) While Stiles tried to hold onto his friends as they enter their senior year, Stuart was off to applying in Ivy League universities and to chasing his dreams.

You grew up with the twins. Being their neighbor meant playing with them since you were able to do so. You loved them both, given their similar yet still different charms. And despite always being teased by Stuart, you started feeling differently towards him compared to Stiles. You started to become jittery and nervous whenever Stuart was around. You found yourself always looking over to where he was and to what he was doing. You always ended up following him around but you knew (despite all the teasing he sent your way) that he didn't mind. You, at an early age, developed a crush on one of the twins.

Stiles, on the other hand, felt those same feelings towards you. It irritated him that you always wanted to be around Stuart. It annoyed him that while he was trying to get your attention, you were vying for Stuart's. Stiles felt like he was only second best when it came to you. So when Stuart left, he made sure that he was the one who was always beside you.

And it pained him. It continues to pain him.

As the years rolled by, your feelings for Stuart were slowly getting buried in your chest. Stiles was hopeful but he knew that whatever you two had was platonic. You love him, you admitted to him, in a sisterly kind of way.

That was another knife through his chest.

But he was persistent. Stiles never stopped simply because he couldn't stop. Everything you did, everything you said, was making him love you even more. You just never realized it.

Until...

The whole pack was having lunch, which was refreshing because they felt like normal students. Everyone was chatting about school, exams, and homework. It truly felt like a great day.

"Stiles," Scott called. All of a sudden, everyone turned silent. It made Stiles feel nervous. "So when is Stuart arriving? You said he was visiting, right?"

That was the first you've heard of it. You turned towards Stiles, a questioning look on your face. It was obvious that he was trying to avoid your gaze.

"Oh... Yeah... Right," he nervously laughed. "He'll be here by the weekend,"

"Who's Stuart?" Liam finally asked the question that was probably bothering him along with Kira and Malia.

"Stiles' twin brother," Scott answered. "Who is also y/n's childhood crush," he teased.

Stiles rolled his eyes in annoyance. You were able to catch that but you didn't voice it out. Well, not yet.
