After what seemed like years of everyone laughing at a red faced Damian, Alfred stopped the poor boy from having any more embarrassment. "I don't know what seems to be so funny. After all Master Grayson your first love was quite... Intreging" A smirk played on the old man's face.

Dick blushed and everyone turned to Alfred to hear the story. "Alfie don't you dare!" He warned.

Everyone gathered around the old man as he began his tale.

Twelve year old Dick Grayson ran down the halls of Wayne manor. The young man was dressed in shorts and a short sleeve shirt. With a toy plane in hand and cheeks puffed out, Grayson made "vroom!" Noises the whole way on his trip. However, as the acrobat came to a stop he glanced up at his adoptive father Bruce who stood tall and proud. But this time he wasn't alone. Standing beside him was a girl only two years older than young Grayson.

With his mouth gasping like a fish out of water and his eyes shinning, his cheeks lightly dusted with a bright pink he watched Barbara Gordon with bright blue eyes. She smiled at him and introduced herself,

"Hi I'm Barbara. You must be Dick, Bruce told me all about you" All he could do was nod

RrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrR

The next time Barbara was in the Batcave Dick came down with a boombox in hand, tights on his legs and a bright orange sweat band across his small forehead. Barbara let a giggle escape her mouth.

" what're you doing Robin?"

Instead of answearing her question Dick took the girl's hand and lightly kissed the back of her hand. She watched with amusement as Dick clicked play on the box and began to sing. His bitter soft voice sung every note.

"Oh Babs, my sweet, darling Babs. How you make my heart calapse with your eyes and dazzling smile!  Oh Babs, how it makes my heart swell when I see you kicking butt" Dick hit a high note and his voice cracked. Babs fell over in a laughing fit and Dick ran off crying.

Bruce found Dick under his bed sobbing. The older man slid under the bed and sat beside his ward. Dick sniffled and rubbed at his red eyes. Bruce didn't talk for a long time and when he did he talked in a soft, loving tone "Barbara told me what happened" Dick finally stopped his tears and with a pout he spoke, "I-I can't ever come out from under my bed, Bruce- Bruce met Dick's eyes and his heart shattered. "You may think that now but trust me. You'll get over it" Dick asked in a quite voice "Did you see it?" Bruce slowly nodded and Dick sighed.

"It was a... Good song. You never told me you could sing" That got Dick to forget everything that happened five minutes ago. His eyes shined as he starred up at Bruce with a smile. " I can sing for you!" Bruce gave a small, rare smile. "I'd love that"
