"Sit down. This is your home now my child." Milenko says smiling. I shrug it off as nothing more than him thinking he is all that. Shaggy places a chair behind me and when I don't sit, he pulls me down. I stare at Shaggy with a look of anger. My attention is drawn back to Milenko when he starts talking. "It's been so long since you were taken from me. We were happy. Father and daughter love!" I must look confused because he goes on. "You are my daughter and some police came and took you away because they thought the carnival was abandoned and they saw you. My baby girl!"
I stay quiet not knowing what to say. I think about the ones who raised me. I knew I was adopted but I was told my real parents were deemed dead. Milenko, well dad, wiped a tear off of my cheek that I didn't know was there. I don't even attempt to pull away from his touch.
"Where is Ronnie?! Where is my boyfriend?!" Is all I can say right now. The three of them look at each other and nod. They start walking and I follow close behind.
