Liam's POV
ever since we broke up, I've been a mess. I miss him so much.
I didn't even want us to break up! we'd just had a silly little argument about Ni coming home a little later than we agreed.
ugh I'm so stupid! why did I even drive him away like that? he apologized and everything, & he said he'd make it up to me as well.
why haven't I apologized yet & beg him to come back you ask?
well, it's because he is always with her.
the thing is, I know he doesn't even like her, he's just doing it to make me jealous.
it may or may not be working.
he always goes out with her, wraps his arm around her, kisses her cheek, takes her out on cute "dates".
oh silly little Niall. I know your game.
& I am sure as hell gonna get you back. just you wait.

Niall's POV
I was just on the sofa, watching some footie when the doorbell rang.
I sighed, but got up anyway to answer the door.
as I swung the door open, I was greeted by the sight of my petite red haired friend, Destiny.
"Nialler!" she squealed, hugging me.
"hey, Des" I smiled, hugging her back.
see, everyone thought that I was dating her, but I wasn't. my heart belongs to Liam, I'm just pretending to date Destiny so I can make Li jealous.
Destiny has been my friend since forever, & so when I asked her to do me this favor, she agreed immediately. she always fangirled about how cute Liam & I were.
"has Liam come to you yet?" she bit her lip and asked.
I sighed, "no, not yet. I'm starting to think he's never going to come" I said sadly, a tear slipping down my cheek.
"Niall! you know he'll come, he's crazy about you! please don't cry, you know I hate it when people cry, especially my best friend" she soothed.
I shrugged my shoulders.
she frowned & put a finger to her chin, thinking about something. suddenly, her face brightened up.
"Niall, I know what'll cheer you up!" she cheered, dragging me by my arm to the kitchen.
"sit" she ordered, pushing me down on the bar stool. she scrambled around the kitchen. pulling out random food items, and put them in a bowl full of who knows what.
she faced me again, smiled and said "ta da! don't you remember these?! we made them all the time when they were little!"
I looked at the bowl, which I now realized was full of ice cream & topped with all my favorite sweets. I beamed at the creation, she was right. we did used to make these all the time!
"thanks Des." I hugged her & basically devoured my ice cream.
"hey, did you actually taste it, or did you just swallow it?" Destiny joked. I smiled & shoved her lightly.
she opened her mouth to retort something, but the ringing of her phone cut her off. I couldn't help but laugh at her ringtone, Justin Beiber's 'Baby' , echoing off the walls.
"oh, hush. you love Justin" she said, her face painted red.
I didn't really have anything to say to that, so I decided to shut up.
"hey baby! what's up?" she asked. I heard a garbled reply from, who I'm guessing, was Eli, her real boyfriend.
"you are?! oh okay!! I'll be there in a few!! love you too, bye Eli." she hung up & started rushing around the room, gathering her things.
"Eli's in town, gonna meet up with him, bye!" she ran towards the open door, giving a little leap before vanishing down the hallway.
I laughed and sighed, closing the door behind her. but not two seconds after, I heard another knock.
thinking it was Destiny coming back to get something she forgot, I opened the door & stared in shock at the person before me.
"Liam..." I whispered, not believing he was really here.
"Ni" he called me by my nickname, which made my heart flutter.
"uhm, listen. I know you probably don't want to see me right now, so before you slam the door in my face, I just wanted to say I'm so so sorry for the things I said, I didn't mean any of them, I was just a little upset, & i still love you with all my heart, please take me back?" he pleaded.
I didn't say anything, just pulled him inside, wrapped my arms around his neck & kissed him hard. he made a little surprised sound, which was adorable, but then he started kissing me back.
