And Sometimes, against all odds, against all logic we still hope. - Unknown
"Can we just stay here all day" Alexander sleepily mumbles as he rolls over and nuzzles his face into my neck. He has the case of the Garfields... Basically he hates Mondays and wants to eat Lasagne all day, it kicked in about 6pm last night when he realised he was in work today.
"No, we can't sleepy head. It's time to get up and get ready." I tell Him as i rake my hand through his messy hair. He's moved down now so that his head is on my stomach, he's looking up at me with hazy, sleepy eyes.
"Five more minutes, please. I just want five more minutes of being here with you." He snakes his body up towards mine. when were face to face he brushed my hair behind my ear and kisses right under my ear lobe and makes his way slowly but surely over to my mouth kiss by kiss.
"Keep this up and you'll be late... I'm warning you." I tell him half seriously, half joking.
He stops his trail of kisses to look me directly in the eyes as he breaks out into a big smile. "I'm the boss I'm allowed to be late" He says cheekily.
"But I'm not!" I retort back. "When you arrive late with me you are silly" He replies and grabs me around the waist and buries us under the covers again.
After another 20 minutes of procrastination made up of kisses and cuddles we finally get our acts to together and head to work. As I arrive at my office my secretary blocks the door to inform me there's someone waiting inside for me. wearily I enter to discover i have no idea who the man is sitting in my office. "Hello, I'm Ms Cordell. Sorry I'm late this morning, how can I help you?" The man turns briefly in his seat to glance at me then states "You better take a seat Mona, the boss has a message for you." My blood runs cold instantly. Why on earth would Marcus send someone here to speak with me. I do as he says and sit down. He wastes no time before he speaks. "I'm head of surveillance for Marcus, he just wanted me to remind you what your job is here. Seems to him like you're losing track of just what that is."
How could i be so stupid as to get caught up in the bliss that Alexander brought and forget what the real goal was... saving him. I open my mouth to speak but the Mysterious man gets thee before me. I have to send Marcus the Audio of this conversation, but i have turned off the bugs because we need to talk in secret. Do you want to save yourself ? because after this mission he's gonna kill you whether you succeed or fail. The boss knows either way you're gonna fail apart. so my advice is when the time is right run pack an overnight make it look like you're going to Alexander's find a busy public place alter your appearance dramatically, do every transaction in cash and just run get the hell out of this country. My second piece of advice for you is: If you want to save Alexander write him a letter explaining everything tell him to have a bag ready to go and when the times comes tell him he has to go with you too." He slides an envelope across my desk me. "This has everything you'll need to run. I'm gonna turn the bugs back on in 3 minutes, when I do I need to you to reply the message the boss sent for you. You got that?" He asks me sternly I'm in that much shock i nearly forget to reply.
"Yes, I do. Thank you so much for this I wont ever tell anyone about this I swear."

I'm back!!! I know its been forever I had honestly forgotten all about this story but then i read back through it and looked back on all the comments and support i've gotten and realised those who followed it deserved an ending. Even thought there wasn't that many of you that followed it and it's more than likely a fair few of you don't use this website anymore I also think I should prove to myself that I can see this through. Lots of love till next time xx
