Well, I feel like shit. I have had this written for almost a month now and am just getting around to posting it. It has been sitting, untouched, in my notebook waiting for me to get off my ass and type. I finally did it! Woooo!

--

I spent the rest of the day actually attempting to focus in class... Not that it went well, but I tried. When the final bell rang, I made my way to the meeting point we had decided on at lunch. Seeing the others, I sped up to them.

"Hey." I said, a bit coolly.

"Hey Raven," Kitty said with a smile. "You ready to go?" I nodded in response and got into the convertible beside her. We rode in relative silence only broken by random conversations that popped up. I stayed mostly silent, slightly nervous about going someplace new. Especially one where everyone hates me and no one knows the truth.

When we pulled up, I couldn't help but gasp. The school was absolutely gorgeous, it looked like a castle. Kitty turned to me with a smile.

"I know," She said, seeing me look around in awe. When the car stopped, Kitty grabbed my hand and pulled me up the front steps, phasing us through the door. Let me tell you, it's a weird feeling that made me giggle. Kitty looked back at me in surprise before a smile spread on her face. "We're home!" She called out, still dragging me. She puled me through the mansion and into an office, again, phasing us through the door.

"You really don't like using doors, do you?" I asked her. She shrugged in response.

"Kitty, what have I said about knocking?" A kind yet stern voice said, causing me to quickly turn my head in the direction of the voice, my foot sliding back into more of a defensive stance.

"Sorry professor." Kitty sheepishly said. The man who had spoken, chuckled. My lessons with Nat kicked in and I began analyzing the man in front of me.

Bald, kind eyes that held sadness, wheelchair, clearly in charge by the way Kitty stood down.

"A very accurate analysis my dear," He said to me. Panicked, I quickly closed off my mind like Wanda had taught me. 'great, he's a telepath too. Gotta be more careful'  I thought to myself. Looking over at the professor, I saw a look of shock on his face. "You pushed me out," He stated. I nodded, slightly confused. "Interesting." He mused as the door opened and Jean and Scott walked in. Jean going to stand behind the professor and Scott to the side.

"What's wrong professor?" Jean asked.

"Nothing, though we seem to have met a rather talented telepath. She managed to push me out." He said with a slight smile.

"What? I can't even do that and I have been training for years!" Jean exclaimed. "How long have you had your powers?" She asked me. I shrugged.

"The beginning of summer. I had to learn to control them fast, especially in my sleep, I realized I had them when I  had the same nightmare as my uncle. I'm glad I learned quick, I have no clue how he lives with those. My own are bad enough." I stopped, realizing I was rambling.

The professor hummed and was about to say something when Kitty's phone rang. She took out her phone and looked at the number.

"I don't recognize it." She stated.
