Merlin's P.O.V

I woke up like any usual day. I got up, ate breakfast and headed to Arthur's chambers after having a small argument with Gaius of my uncleaned bedroom. Old man, always bugging me about it yet when I try to clean it, he gets mad as he sees the items working hard by themselves.

Granted he also dislikes that I use magic so carelessly.

He might have a point.

"Rise and shine," I said as I opened the curtain.

"Shut up Merlin!"

"Come on, wake up. You've got training today." I added as I started to pick up the clothes he left scattered all over the floor as he usually did. Always such a mess.

"Right. Well, you must hurry up and get my hot bath ready," he grumbled as he looked at me from where he laid.

I looked over at him, taking in the way he looked as he has just woken up, "Yes sire." I said.

I got the water ready and poured it into his tub. I waited for him after I was done. He always took long to get in the bath. I hated that so much. By the time he got in, the water wouldn't be as hot and he'd get in a mood, complaining how his water was cold or not hot enough.

"Arthur your bath has been ready for like 20 minutes now. Can you please hurry up?"

"Merlin, I am the prince. You cannot tell me what I should and should not do. Is that understandable?" He spoke as he made his way.

"Yes sire."

I sound like a broken record.

"Good." he smiled at me.

Rolling my eyes, I grab the towel and get down on me knee, cleaning up the spilled water. Knowing Arthur, he would most probably step on it and complain.
Complain and complain.

That's all he can do.

As I finished, I got up and when I gave the turn, I bumped straight into Arthur both of us falling to the floor as he lost his balance. I looked down at him and I panicked, just from being this close to him and also him being shirtless.

"Merlin?" He called ever so softly.

I slowly looked at him, "Yes sire?"

"Get off of me!"

"Yes sire."

I got up quickly and left running. I didn't know what else to do. I went straight into Gaius' chambers. I ran into my room and laid down for a while trying to get my mind off of the incident. I was not to think of it, I wasn't suppose to and I didn't want to. It was wrong. Really, really wrong, yet I couldn't block it out as much as I wanted.

Arthur's P.O.V

It has been half an hour since Merlin left. He should've been here by now. Why did he get so scared? Was it my reaction? My tone? I guess I'll just have to wait to ask him. I always did these stupid things without thinking. I scream at him or just plain tease him. I sighed as I rubbed my face, not even waiting another minute before I started to call for him.

"Merlin....
Merlin.....
MERLIN!!" I called, being frustrated as he never showed, especially because he probably was nowhere near to my bedroom.

But it didn't take long for his head to peak around the corner, for I knew the guards would let him know I was calling for him.

"Sorry sire. What is it you need?" he asked me.
