CALEBS P.O.V
"have fun." Hannas mom grinned as we opened the front door.
"We will." I beamed. Today Hanna and I were going to parental classes. Hanna was ecstatic to learn so many new things, but I was nervous. I wasn't going to let that ruin our day though.
We walked to the car and got strapped in before driving off.
"I can't waitttttt." Hanna smiled.
I grinned at her "I'm glad you're excited."
"Are you nervous?"
"A little." I said truthfully "but it's fine."
"I'll hold your hand if you get scared." Hanna mocked.
"Hilarious." I chuckled slightly. We got out the car and Hanna pushed her sunglasses up so they were on top of her head. Her hair was straight and she was wearing a grey fabric jumpsuit and sandals. I was wearing blue shorts and a plain white top and black converse.
"You're bump looks amazing in that." I complimented. I loved being able to see Hannas bump, it wasn't huge but it wasn't small either.
"Thank you." She said as we walked into the hall where the session was being held. Instantly we walked into a huge room. In the middle was a circle of chairs and around them people talking, waiting for the lesson to start. In the corner was a bunch of baby models and supplies we were going to use.
"This place gives me the chills." I said.
Hanna laughed "what do we do while we wait?"
"We could go and talk to some people?"
Hannas face dropped "no."
"What?"
"I don't want to meet new people, I'm fine just talking to you." She sighed.
"Whatever you want." I smiled, glad I didn't have to talk to anymore 'dad to be's' who are probably in there mid twenties.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen sit around." A lady with brown hair grinned "I'm Rachel."
Me and Hanna took our seats. Next to us , on my left was a couple arguing and on Hannas left, a couple who looked about 20. I wasn't much interested in the other people, just listening so I coujd be the best dad I possibly could.
It started off with the ladies speaking about responsibility before we got assigned a task "right I'm going to show you how you out a diaper on."
We were all handed a fake dummy of a baby and a clean diaper. I watched carefully and successfully put it on. I looked at Hanna who had done so as well. She smiled at me.
"Has everyone completed that?"
Most people in the room nodded or mumbled yes so Rachel carried on "next activity is a couples one. So ladies, I'm going to teach you your birthing positions and men, how you hold the lady during labour."
Each girl got given a mat. Hanna sat on it "are you having fun?"
I nodded. Honestly, I was really intrigued by everything.
Hanna did as she was told and followed the instructions and I held her hand with one hand and had my other hand on her back. After that we took our seats again "breathing exercises, because giving birth is the most painful thing."
Hanna looked scared at that point. We all sat around breathing in and out at different points.
"Okay that's all good, so now it's question times. You can ask me questions about any concerns." Rachel smiled to the group.
Hanna raised her hand which suprised me "is it better to breastfeed?"
"It depends on the person. If the women is comfortable while breastfeeding, the babies comfortable."
Hanna nodded in reply.//
"How was it?" Ted asked.
"It was good." I smiled opening the fridge and cracking open a diet coke. Hanna grabbed a yogurt and ate it.
"What did you do?" He asked.
"A bunch of stuff." Hanna shrugged "exercises, games, speeches and stuff."
"And you now feel more prepared?" He asked.
HANNAS P.O.V
I nodded "I feel like I can actually stress less now."
"That's good."
Caleb smiled "wheres Ashley?"
"She's at work." Ted rolled his eyes "she wanted to work some extreme hours."
"Why?"
"She's saving up for something, probably some shoes." Ted chuckled, knowing his wife all to well.
"Probably." I agreed.
There was a knock on the door and Caleb went to get it, returning with Emily.
"Em hi!" I grinned hugging her "what are you doing here?"
"I wanted to say bye."
Bye. I had completely forgotten, the baby had been distracting, Emily was moving to California for college. All my friends in the next few months would be gone, to college, and I was here pregnant, had cancelled my college plans, and had nowhere to live with my growing family.
"Em-" I croaked "I'm gonna miss you."
"Hanna." She smiled sadly and hugged me again "take care of yourself and your precious baby okay?"
I nodded "love you."
"I love you too." She grinned before turning to Caleb "I'll miss you too Caleb."
They shared there goodbyes before she left, during this time, Ted had left to go food shopping.
"Caleb." I sniffled.
He wrapped his arms around me "what's wrong?"
"They're all gonna leave, what are we going to do?" I asked.
"We're going to work something out. I promise." Caleb assured me "come with me."
We settled on the sofa with Calebs laptop and he began searching for 2 bedroom apartments.
"Pick one."
"What?"
"Pick one and I'll get us there soon."
I smiled and began scrolling "where?"
"New York."
I paused "my mums moving there for her job, which we delayed, once the babies born...so we can be close to my mom and Ted."
"Yes." He smiled "now pick one."
2 bedroom apartment.
New York city.
Balcony.
Open plan kitchen, diner.
Separate living room.
One double room, one single.
1 bathroom. We looked through the picture "it's so nice."
"How much?"
"155,500." I gulped.
"We can try." Caleb said kissing my head.
I rested my head back on his "its so much."
"I know babe-but we'll find a way." He whispered "we always do."
He rested his hands on my bump "daddy's going to give you and mommy the best life I can."
