"Hi. I'm Caspar Ryan, and I just transferred from West High. Nice to meet you guys," Caspar said with a wink.

I swear, he was looking right at me with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

All the girls in the class had a dreamy look on their face. He still had that effect on girls.

Was I dreaming? Was this just another nightmare about him? Hopefully.

A wave of emotions washed through me- pain, regret, sadness, and mostly anger. Just looking at his face and hearing his voice brought back so many memories.

He still looked the same since the last time I saw him, with his icy blue eyes, thin lips, sharp nose, and toned skin. His hair did get longer, and he was a bit taller.

Why the hell was he here? Why couldn't he just stay as far from me as possible? Why couldn't he just burn in hell?

"Continue with your work," Ms. Wrinkles said to the class and interrupted my thoughts. She leaned towards Caspar and whispered something in his ear. He nodded.

I turned my attention back to Paige who was staring at Caspar. I rolled my eyes and cleared my throat.

"What?" Paige asked with her eyes still fixed on Caspar. Her eyes were going to fall off soon if she didn't stop goggling her eyes at him.

"Let's get back to our assignment," I responded and nudged her. She brushed me off.

"Wait! Oh my god! He's coming over here! The new dude's walking towards us! Wait, he's walking towards me," Paige yelled excitedly.

She turned around to face me, so he wouldn't catch her staring. I didn't bother to look up when I heard footsteps coming closer.

"Hey," Caspar said. His voice sounded deeper and more husky.

Paige giggled and squealed," Hi! I'm Paige!" She sounded like a mouse.

"Pretty name. Nice to meet you Paige," Caspar said. Judging from his personality, I would bet my life he just winked at her.

"And you are?" he asked taking a seat next to Paige. He was sitting across from me and I felt his eyes on me.

Why the hell was he here? Why was he sitting across from me? Why was he talking to me? Who the hell wants to talk to you?

Just get the hell away. Go get chewed up by a dog and let your remains rot in a ditch. Crash your car into a bridge, with yourself in it, and let it bur-

"Hello? He asked you a question!" Paige said, startling me.

"W-What?" I stuttered looking up at her.

"You're cute," Caspar chuckled. "I asked you for your name."

How dare he break my heart and ask me for my name? Did he get amnesia or something?

"Did your head fall on a rock?" I asked and mustered up my deadliest glare. I bit my lip preventing myself from screaming at his face.

He gave me a genuine confused look and asked, "Have we met?"

Was he playing dumb? He was either a really good liar or he got a memory loss. Or, he just dated too many girls and didn't remember me.

"Never mind. I guess I mistakened you for this bum I saw on the streets earlier. He was scraping chicken off the floor and his face was covered with dirt and mud. He also had rags on. You guys are similar " I said rudely.
