A/N: Enjoy :)

"I hope you like it."

I stared into the mirror and studied myself carefully. My hair was shorter and less thick, and it was more layered, but other than that, it wasn't really different.

I felt more refreshed and light in the head, but I also missed my long hair.

"It may look plain and simple, but I think that is the most suitable for you. Who needs highlights and hair dye when you have perfectly fine, straight black hair?" Sally usherd with a smile.

"I like it. Thank you," I said and we walked out the room.

I met up with Abby and we paid at the cashier. Abby's long, wavy, brown hair was dyed to a light shade of brown at the tips. It looked nice on her.

"Nice hair," I complimented.

"You too," she said with a wink.

We shopped at a few more shops and decided to call it a day. I didn't buy anything other than the dress from before.

Abby walked me home because she lived a block away from me.

"Wanna come in?" I asked.

"Nah," she replied shaking her head. "I don't want to face the evil, devilish wrath of your brother... no offense, haha."

"No offense taken," I said understaningly.

She waved a goodbye and turned around to leave.

"Cya," I said and opened the front door.

"Mom! I'm home," I shouted, taking off my shoes.

"Ew, the devil is back," Ian greeted.

It's funny how just a few seconds ago, Abby called him a devil.

"Hello to you too," I said and rolled my eyes.

"Hey, how was school?" Mom asked stepping out from the kitchen. She was wearing an apron, like always when I came back from school.

I smelled pizza from the kitchen and wrinkled my nose. I hate pizza days. Whenever my mom got lazy, she would just heat up a slice of pizza.

"It was... interesting," I replied thinking back about Caspar.

"Were you on your best behavior at Will's home?" She questioned with raised eyebrows.

Will's place? Oh yeah. He told her that I stayed at his place overnight. I nodded in response.

Will's mom and my mom were best friends in the past. I never really knew about him until we were in the same grade and in a class together. I guess it was fate for us to become best friends since our moms were.

His mom died when he was really young from cancer. Poor Will. Why can't cancer just get cancer and die?

I walked to my room and grabbed my laptop to quickly check my Facebook.

Kevin Unf accept your friend request.

Omg! I squealed to myself and clicked on my messages. Kevin sent me one.

Kevin: If you dream about me, at least don't make it so obvious. The drool has to go.

What was he talking about? I clicked on the attached file he sent me and gasped. That sneaky little...

It was a picture of me with saliva rolling down the corner of my mouth.

Me: Psh, I wasn't dreaming of you. ;p
