Chapter 4 pillow war

Kate's POV
I woke up in the arms of Nashe's . I tried getting up, but he pulled me back down.
"F-fine.... Il stay for a bit longer." I whisper to him
He smiles as he pulled me closer.
Eventually we had to get up, but as we looked around we could see other couples snuggling.
We had Emmalyn and Kenmur
Aphmau and Aaron
Katelynn and Jeffory
Travis and Lucinda

I got up to get dressed i went down stairs, as I turned the corner I saw kewaii chan, Cadenza and Nicole. I hid behind the corner so I could hear what they were talking about.

"Kewaii chan knew Kate-sama and Nate-Kun were a thing". Kewaii chan started
"Eeeeee it's just so cute" Cadenza continued
"Guys that's weird don't watch people in their sleep... No matter how cute." Nicole finished
I walked .
"What are you talking about girl". I interrupt
" eek" kewaii chan said
"U-uh nothing" Cadenza said while trying to save them
"We're talking about how you and Nate were snuggling in your bed" Nicole stated casually.
"W-w-what!!" I say while blushing
Cadenza had taken photos, and she showed them to me.
"Cadenza. Delete. Those. Now!!"I say
We playfully start pouncing on each other but she ends up winning because she tickled me which is kinda unfair but I accepted defeat.
"Ok you can keep the photos... But don't show those to anyone of let anyone see it" I told her
"Ok ok fine...." She said.

Eventually everyone came down. We decided to do face paint with makeup. I got a cat on my cheek. The boys were messing around with pillows, then one accidentally threw one at Katelyn. The whole room went completely quiet. She picked up the pillow and threw it at the boys as hard as she could, ending in an all out war of pillows.

The boys and girls both built 2 forts one for girls and the other for boys. We used them as shelter from the pillows.
"Nicole , you stay on look out make sure no boys sneaking in. Aphmau commanded
"Katelyn your on attack when we are ready to attack"
"Kewaii chan your job is to get more pillows when we are running low"
"Kate you can sneak in the fort and steal pillows and get their plans"
"W-what why me?!" I quickly said
"Because you the quietest here and your probably stealthy" she stated

She continued to tell the rest of the orders, then she whispered to me that I had to go sneak over.
I went around the other side, kewaii chan was doing a distraction by "going in" on the other side.
I get I and grab as many pillows as possible and run in about to be caught when I throw the pillows on our side then I'm captured by Nash.
"Mwahahahaa you thought you could steal our stuff and get away with it"
"N-no not really I was just told to do this" I say
"Oh well um..... Erm.... Well your stuck here until someone on your tags you"he said" and I'm not intending on letting you go"
He said while hugging me.
"Wait... Out of curiosity when did we become this close...?" I asked
"Since the moment I saw you" he said flirtatiously.
I rolled my eyes
"You can let go now" I told him
"No I'm not letting you escape" he said
"I'm not going to run away its the game rules" I told him
"Ok then I'm not taking any chances"he continued
*sigh*" whatever" I said

Eventually the game ended with the boys winning.
"Hey guys we should go to the ice cream place or something" I said
There was a moment of silence as if they were thinking. Everyone agreed and we all decided to walk there.
I was balancing on those pavement things when all of a sudden Nash grabbed my hand.
" um Nash... Why are you holding my hand?" I asked
"Oh um... Because I don't want you to fall" he states quickly
"Yeah asureeee" Nicole says

When we arrive at the ice cream shop we all start deciding on what to have.
"What types of ice cream can I get you guys" the person who gets the ice cream said
" birthday cake!" Nash and I say at the same time. Everyone laughs . Once everyone gets their ice cream we walk to the park while eating it.

X time skip to later that night X
Kate's POV
The group is starting to separate some of us are walking and others driving Nash and I decide to walk to our houses because of how pretty the sunset it.

"Hey Kate" Nash says
"Yeah"
"So....my dad is coming into town in a couple of days" he tells me
" that sounds cool" I say cheerfully
"Not really..." He said a little bit more quiet
"What do you mean?" I ask him
"Well....he kinda doesn't think girls are strong or that they should live alone" he tells me
"Ok and..." I say
"I-I'm just scared that he's not going to like you and that he might try and hurt you" he sais still quiet
" h-he w-wouldn't do that...right....right!!" I say almost shouting
"H-He unfortunately would" he says sadly
I stay silent because I don't know how to respond to it.
"A-And I don't want him to hurt you" he says " b-because your the closest person I've had for a while..."
"W-What do you mean...?" I ask
"My mom unfortunately died In a car accident when I was 6, from then my dad only cared about money." He states quietly "He barely even cared about me...."
"Oh my god Nash I'm so sorry for you" I say while hugging him.
"B-But why me of all people you know...why me?" I ask
"B-Because I-I..." He stutters a little and looks very nervous.
Wait... Is he saying that he--
"K-Kate I l-love you" he says nervously while blushing madly.
"E-E-Even if you don't return those feeling it's ok,I just thought you should know that. And it's perfectly fine if you don't return those feelings cause I could see why. I'm very untidy and I go online waaaaaay to much a-and I--"
I interrupt him by kissing him
"It's ok, I-I may not be to the point of love but....I could say I'm almost there" I say while blushing.
