Chapter Four
I sat there blankly before someone pushed me forward.
I walked towards the odd looking hat thing. I mean, what's the worst it could do? Bite me?
I sat down on the extremely short stool.
Only for the hat to touch my head and say:
"Slytherin!"
Everyone in the room gasped, including most of my family. Except for Hugo, who had a playful smirk on his face.
I headed over to the table where Scorpius, knowing that he was a Slytherin.
The whole room was silent while I sat down next to Scorpius.
"Well? Get on with it." I snapped.
"Umm.. Right." professor McGonagal mumbled before reading more names and placing more students.
"You you're Potter's daughter?" a Girl asked.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"Higgs, Kendra Higgs." she grinned.
"Potter, Lily Potter." I smirked.
"I see you've met Scorpius." she replied with the same grin.
"Yeah, she's Albus's sister." Scorpius added.
"I know that, you nitwit." Kendra hissed.
"Sometimes, I wonder why you're a Slytherin." Kendra sighed, shaking her head slowly.
'Me too.' he mumbled in my head.
"Scorp's a family friend." I added.
"Oh yeah, he's friends with your brother, Albus, is it?" she asked Scorpius.
"Yeah." he sighed.
After the feast Scorpius, Kendra and I walked down some stairs to the dungeons, where the Slytherin common room.
"Welcome, this is your home for the next three years." Scorpius grinned.
"Oh, you're a fourth year?" Kendra asked.
"Yeah." I sighed.
"Don't sound so glum, you'll still have me after Scorpius and Albus leave." she said in a comforting voice.
"You're a fourth year too?" I asked.
"Yeah." she responded.
"That will suck to not have you and my brothers at school with me in two years." I sighed, looking at Scorpius.
"Awww! Youre gonna miss me Lily?" Scorpius asked mockingly.
My face heated up.
'I'll take that a as a yes.' Scorpius's voice whispered in my head.
"Stop doing that!" I growled at Scorpius.
"Why don't you make me Potter?" Scorpius asked cheekily.
"Because-"
My mouth was suddenly too busy to argue.
Scorpius's lips were upon mine.
"Love on the battle field." Kendra murmured behind us.
Scorpius and I pulled away.
Woah.
'Woah, is right.' he thought inside my head.
"We should do that more often." Scorpius smirked.
"In your dreams Malfoy." I smirked.
"Yeah, maybe. If you're lucky." he smirked before heading up to the boys dorms.
"Well that was random." Kendra chuckled.
"No kidding."
I just kissed a boy that I met- in person, for the first time- today.
A boy that it seems that I know longer than a day.
And he's probably hearing everything I'm thinking now.
'That I am Lily.' his voice said cheekily.
'That I am.'
