I wake up back in the weird cell room, that now that I think about it, smells like death. I look around seeing nothing different. I stand up... Well... TRY to stand up anyways... I fall onto my back as soon as I get up on my feet. "What the..." Is all I say before I look behind me and see a pair of black and red dragon wings. I scream out of surprise at first, but then I realized something. Those are my wings! WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE WINGS!?! I check if anything else is different, only to find I have a matching tail. Before I can do anything else, guards are outside the door to the cell. Are they back for me? That's what I'm thinking until I hear the voice that I would never want to hear in this place. My best friend. My sister basically. The person gets thrown into the cell, the door slamming behind her. I quickly crawl to the corner of the cell so she can't see me... Um... Newest features...
"Sarah?" I whisper from the other side of the room. Her head pops up, and I see her eyes glimmer with some sort of hope.
"ARI?!? IS THAT SERIOUSLY YOU?!" She looks at me, and gasps, "what did they do to your eyes? They're all... orangey..." She says with a confused look on her face before she turns back to her usual self and runs up and hugs me. Before I can stop her though, her hands wrap around me and are now resting on my wings. She jumps back in shock. "Wh-what was that? What... What did they do?"
I sigh, giving up on hiding the fact and I stand up out of the corner. I slightly show my wings and tail, while trying to look not as intimidating. "They gave me dragon wings... And a tail..." I say while trying to stop tears running down my face, obviously to no avail. In just seconds my face is drenched in tears. I was about to just give up and cry on the floor until I feel a warm embrace surround me.
"You are not alone. I am here for you, Ari. I always will be."
She... She doesn't care? She isn't scared? She still has my back? Wow...
"Thank you..."
