It was becoming dark in the apartments. Red opened his tried eyes and stared directly at the television.

Sadly he had gotten sick and had to stay home from work today. Barney begged Red to stay home and take care of him, yet Red refused saying he was fine. "Ares you sure you's don't wants me to stay?" Barney asked the eleventh time. Red knew since he had counted. "Yes," he replied "I'll be fine." Barney felt a bit guilty for leaving Red on his own, but he went to work anyway. Not before feeling Red's forehead and asking Red to call him if he needed anything.

Yet he stared feeling sick again and the feeling of dizziness. The medication he took helped a slight bit, but I didn't take the horrid pain away. It felt like hell to even walk. Red's headache wouldn't go away for the life of him and he just felt awful. Taking a sip of the hot tea Barney had made him before heading off to work; it made him wish he was still here. Taking care of Red and smiling when he said he felt better.

He felt the hot liquid travel down his throat as it seemed to cure the pain he felt. Red would only have to wait another hour for his friend to come home, yet it felt like forever. He tried to stay entertained by glancing at his Twitter page, looking for good shows on the TV, and just playing random IOS games. To no avail he just held onto the wet towel that was on top of his head cooling him down. Red felt a light pressure on his chest as he slowly started to drift off to sleep. As he was on the verge of sleep, he had gotten that strange sensation where you feel as if you're falling. Red's eyes opened wide to realize he luckily wasn't in any danger and just simply stared at the ceiling. A sigh escaped his mouth as his heart beats slowly became calm again due to him just being scared. He relaxed again and started drifting off once more. This time he happily smiled as he thought of how he might feel better when he wakes up, how Barney would probably be there when he wakes up. He was thinking so much he had forgotten he was sleeping, so he just drifted between dream and reality.

Barney had gotten out his keys and locked the door to check up on his friend. The anticipation had been killing him all day during work, so it felt nice to finally check up on Red.

"Red, I'ms home" Barney said in a loud, yet quiet voice. He wasn't sure if Red was asleep or not, so he made sure to keep quiet. He put down the soup he had gotten for his sick friend on the kitchen table and walked through the apartment. Walking over to Red's room he, knocked quietly "Red, ares you's awake?" he asked in a low voice. Received no answer from the other side Barney opened the door to see Red peaceful sleeping in his bed.

Barney walked over near where Red was sleeping and look down at the empty cup of tea he had made him. He picked it up to take it to the sink but had stayed still staring at Red. It gave him a feeling that made his heart race and cheeks glow brightly.

His glance traveled towards Red's forehead  and he felt the folded towel. It was warm with a little cold water being left. Barney smiled and took the towel off his head to put more cool relaxing water on it for Red.

Taking the cup over to the sink, he washed it and put it back in the cabinet filled with similar mugs.  He then focused on the towel and turned on the cold water. He put his hand near the faucet letting his hand touch the cool liquid to tell if it was the correct temperature. Then he took the towel he was holding in his one dry hand and put it under the water letting it soak up all the water it could.

When Barney was finished, he pulled the towel and let all the extra water leak through and fall down the drain. He walked back to Red's room still find him still the same as when Barney had left. He smiled and put the cold towel over his head. Walking out he lowered the volume of the T.V "Hopes you's gets better Red" he said talking one final look at his resting friend before shutting the door behind him.

A good 20 minutes of silence flooded the apartment. The only sound that could be heard is Barney muttering to himself, until another voice broke the silence. "Barney" Red and called quietly from his room. "Comings" he replied getting off the couch and into Red's room. Barney could already tell that he was looking much better then he did in the morning. Red had seemed less droopy and no longer looked as dizzy as he had before. "Ares you's feelings okay?" Barney asked going over the side of the bed which Red was near. His eyes were closed and his face looked as if he had just woken up, which was probably the case. "Barney" Red said again without answering Barney's question. "Yeah dirt?"
He asked. Red slowly raised up his arms and look over to Barney with his eyes still shut. "Give me a hug Barney" Red asked.

Barney laughed and got closer to his level to give him a hug. "Anythings for you's Red."
So ares feelings better?" Barney asked pulling away. Red yawned then nodded him. Red's eyes were squinted as he sat up on his bed. "Good I's been worried about yous alls day. Are's yous hungry, I's brought yous soup?" Barney asked. "Yeah I guess" Red said. Just about anyone could tell he had just woken up.

Then Red jumped. Barney leaned in and kissed
Red's check. "Comings right ups, baby's" Barney said leaving the room smiling. His face flushed with shades of red. His cheeks were already bright from his sickness so he hid his face in a pillow and laughed waiting for Barney.
