Hiro POV
I sat at a empty lunch table in the far corner away from everyone. I watched as the other kids went up to their friends, high five them and patted their backs. I felt a bit lonely AGAIN since my friends weren't here AGAIN.
Then I saw Violet and I waved her over. I saw her smile and start to walk up to me. Suddenly, a blonde girl sitting with a group of cheerleaders and jocks put her leg out and tripped Violet who fell on the ground. She smirked, "Wow, klutz." Then I heard her murmur, "What a geek."
Anger swept over me as the group of seniors laughed at the comment. Without thinking, I run to Violet and helped her up.
"You okay?" I asked. All she did was nod, then she sprint out the door. I was about to run after her, but I hesitated and just watched her sink her hands in her eyes turning the corner.
One the jocks behind me cocked, "You gonna run after your girlfriend?" I frowned and turned to him. I was about to say something, but I didn't.
The jock stood up, he was almost twice the size of me. He grabbed my shirt, "You gonna say anything?" This guy was really getting on my nerves. I shook my head, "Nah, I didn't want to embarrass you in front of your friends, but your shirts on backwards, your hair looks like a mop, and your breath smells like you ate a dead skunk."
His buddies started to laugh and some people at other tables nearby did to. The senior got pretty angry. He lifted me up by the collar, startled I yelped. I closed my eyes, wincing ready for a blow. Where are the teachers around here??
Bang! I fell, but I wasn't hit. I opened my eyes to find the jock on the ground holding his jaw and Tadashi standing above me holding a fist by his side staring at him.
Did my brother just punch that kid????
Then someone started to pull me up. I look over. It was Wilbur and Penny was right behind him. Did they just walk in here? Penny had fear in her eyes and asked, "Are you ok?" I just stood there a bit startled at what just happened. Then I thought. Violet!
