Modern Four: High School

Tadashi's POV cont.

Hiro and I made it to the front of the school. Seeing it made me flash back to my dream. It kind of scared me how real it felt at the time..b-but I know it's just my nerves talking.

I said bye to Hiro and watch him run off towards his friends; Wilbur, Penny, and Violet. I've met all of them. Wilbur comes over a lot and Hiro and him play video games or do whatever. I obviously know who Penny is since Hiro's crazy for her even though he doesn't admit it. I don't know much about Violet but every time I'm around her, she's so loopy and bubbly...its kind of weird. But I don't really care.

I just watch them smile and have fun then I spot my pal, Andy. We're kind of close. We used to play with toys together when we were young, I think a cowboy doll and a space ranger action figure were his favorite. I had fun with the slinky dog and the t-rex too.

I give Andy a high five when he came over. I greet him, "Hey man." Andy smiled, "Sup dude. What's going on?" I shrug and nudged towards Hiro, "My brother and I just got here so not much." Andy nodded, "Yeh, I just got here like five minutes ago. I was talking to Hiccup but he headed off toward Jack and then I saw you."

I remembered what I had to do later and moaned. Andy looked over at me concerned, "What's up bud?" Andy already new that I liked Honey Lemon but I never told him my plan. I smile at him and rub the back of my neck, "I was thinking of asking Honey Lemon out at school today."

My friend's smile turned into a grin. He shipped us since I told him I liked her in the middle of eleventh grade. Andy patted me on the back, "Took you long enough dude! This is so great. Tadahoney is actually gonna happen!" I sigh, "If I stop acting like a wimp." Andy gave me a reassuring smile, "Come on man. You have way more confidence than I do." I looked to him, "Hey, you've got courage." He rolled his eyes, "Oh really? Says the guy who's gonna ask his crush out. I couldn't even do that."

Suddenly there was a ripple of laughter from the group of girls by us. Elsa, Merida, Rapunzel and Anna were snorting and holding their stomachs. It was kind of funny to watch. I saw Anna look over at us with a gleam in her eye.

She walked over holding her phone in her hand and smiled sweetly, "Hey, could one of you take a picture of us?" She gestured to her friends and Rapunzel waved. I turned to Andy who was starting to get nervous. He fumbled, "Uhh..uh-I..um-I.." I step in trying to save him from his situation, "Sure, we'll take it for you." Anna grinned. "Oh my gosh, awesome!" She handed Andy her phone and headed towards her group. Andy looked like he was paralyzed staring at the phone in his hands. He started shaking in fear. I grabbed the phone and held it up making sure all the girls were in it. They had a cute pose and I snapped the photo. I gave them a thumbs up and they giggled. Anna ran back to us and grabbed her phone from me, "Thank you guys so much!" I smiled, "No problem." Anna looked over at Andy and gave him a little wave smiling bright and skipped to her friends.

If you didn't notice, Andy's got a crush on Anna. Ever since the beginning of eleventh grade he had a crush on her. He was usually cool around her..well not cool cool but didn't freeze up like he just did then. He pretty much just has short conversations or a plain 'hey' with her. It's because he's been conscious about his looks lately and Anna has stepped up her game. Worried about prom and all that, Andy lost it. I nudged him, "You got it bad dude." He nodded his head, "I know."

I just laugh and pat him on the back. The bell rang and me and Andy headed inside. I started to get antsy when I reminded myself about Honey Lemon. I groan and close my eyes. Hopefully Hiro and his pals fair better than I will.
