I was happy the rest of the day went pretty well. Who am I kidding? It was shocking! The food served at the cafeteria wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I made a lot more friends (or minions haha)

Cedarwood Academy had a policy that each student should take part in at least one sport they excelled in.(I saw that on the notice board) I picked swimming even though I could play the other nine quite well. Anna and Kendra were pretty good swimmers and were already in the swimming team which made it easier for me to join if I set off my brilliant skills. By the time I realized this, I was already skipping down the hallway like a kid that was being offered free candy. I could have bumped into at least ten people but didn't care anyway. All that was on my mind was get my swimming gear, show off my skills and without a doubt, join the swimming team.

Once at the pool, there weren't a lot of people for try-outs, making it two times easier to join the team. I could spot more boys than girls and a middle aged man that was probably the lifeguard.

"Kye!" I heard my name being called out from a distance. I sighed in relief when I realized it was only Anna calling me. "Oh hey Anna." "You're here for try-outs I see" she responded while examining me. "The changing room is that way." Following her direction, I found it in no time and changed in the blink of an eye because of the offensive odor present in the air. All the other swimmers were quite good except a few that messed up a little.

When it was my turn, I stood in a pike position and dived into the pool in a forward manner. Then I swam across the pool using butterfly stroke in approximately twenty-five seconds. Just before reaching the wall, I did two somersaults and placed my feet on the wall, stretched out my arms and pushed forward with my feet. Yes! I had finally perfected my tumble turn.

Everyone had an amused if not jealous expression. What? It's the 21st century. Such things are possible!

Holding the ladder, I saw a hand outstretched to help me. As soon as I grabbed hold of it, I was pulled out of the icy-cold water. "Nothing like a clean towel for Amphitrite." "Stephan?" "Ah-huh? Nice moves you got there. Wanna grab an ice cream as a treat?" He asked all under one breath as if he was saying something he shouldn't have. "Thank you. For everything. Sure. I'm quite hungry. Meet you in 10 right here." I added before heading back to the changing room.

A/N: Am I the only one that substitutes desert for a main meal?

I was drying my hair when I saw Jerk boy through the dirty, old mirror. "Jordan!" I almost screamed while grabbing a towel to cover my already bare chest. "Hey Princess. Oops, wrong changing room." He replied with a smirk.
Jordan was growing into an even bigger jerk each day and was really starting to piss me off but that heavenly look gave it away.
A few girls in the changing room startled to chuckle and say things like he has a cute butt, he's too good to be real and all those stupid girl comments. Girls will always be girls. Love isn't blind. It's infatuation that is.

Okay I do not know why I decided to pick swimming when I don't know much about it. :D I hope it's good enough though. Please comment and vote.
