Hey readers. Okay the title is due to my undying love for The Fault In Our Stars. I could watch that movie a thousand times without getting bored.

Chapter goals: 37 reads, 3 comments and  6 votes. Please help me reach this by sharing my story.

It's been long since I updated and as promised, here comes the eighth chapter. And I'm sorry for the late update.

The long anticipated Friday night finally came and I healed faster than expected. All through the week, I had swimming practice for the gala that was next Saturday.

As a treat for doing exceptionally well, Anna and Kendra decided we take a break by watching a movie. We were all Goosebumps fans so there wasn't any voting on which movie to watch.

Thirty minutes into the movie, we ran out of popcorn and I offered to get more but Anna insisted I shouldn't.

The movie continued and when it was done, we started talking about why R.L Stine should have told Hannah she was a monster too and what would happen in the sequel if there was to be one.

I suggested we play a little confession game to get to know each other better. From it, I learnt Anna had a rough past. Her father died when she was a baby and because her mother became wrecked, she started drinking. Anna couldn't live in such a place and she went to live with one of her mothers' friends who happened to be Kendra's mum.

Kendra on the other hand was full of positive energy (explains why her favorite color was yellow) and was determined to become Mayor once she was done with school. The two girls became like sisters, inseparable and fun to hang out with.

"Your turn" Kendra said clapping her hands excitedly like Olaf from Frozen. "Oh right. Uhm I'm allergic to peanuts and pulled off the biggest prank at my school last year." Anna and Kendra laughed as if I made a joke. Anna was the first to speak. "Come on. Not small talk. What's going on between you and Stephan?" She questioned with a raised eyebrow and weird smirk. "Nothing we are JUST FRIENDS" I replied stressing the 'just friends' part. "But I might have a tiny crush on Jordan Andrews" I added before they could ask. "Aww you two make a cute couple" Kendra complimented while pinching my cheek like the way grandmothers do. "And you could go for prom together. You might just be prom king and queen" Anna said with a sly smile. "Stop it you two. There are a lot of pretty girls here. He can't possibly ask me."

I secretly wished he could ask me. Then I'd be on cloud nine, my heart would beat with an entirely new rhythm and we could go for prom together.

It was really late when we decided to sleep. They say sleep is for the weak and I'm weak, so I had to sleep. Besides, I wouldn't want to deal with the bags under my eyes.

Chapter without boys. Yay! *sigh* So that was it. The chapter you all wanted. Please vote, comment and follow to help me reach my chapter goals. And you can follow/add me on my other accounts:
