12. Starting Over

Read this before you proceed...
First of all, I am awfully sorry I took ages to update. I'm in boarding school and only came home for the weekend. I'll be leaving today. Secondly, I know my chapters are short but that's why it's a short story.

I was partially awake when seven people entered the room. I was able to recognize Kendra, Sapphire, Bethel, Keila and Anna. There were two boys in the back; both extremely good looking. One had black disheveled hair and the other, neat brown hair. They looked so familiar yet so strange.

What is wrong with me?

Sapphire was the first to speak when she noticed the awkward glances I kept giving the two hotties. "So, Uhm congratulations for kicking the asses of all other nine participants. Because of that, we decided to treat you with a weekend at Wonder Resort."

What? Did I hear right?

"Wonder Resort?" I asked, amused by what Sapphire had just said. "Ah-huh. We already set a date and asked your mum." Anna replied. All my friends knew how much I wanted to go there. Several times had I asked my mum but she politely refused. This was definitely better than the Chanel gift card I received for Christmas last year. In fact, it was better than all my gifts!
 

"Of course we'll leave when you get better" Keila added. "We could go shopping, have fun and you know they have the best milkshakes in town." Bethel said teasingly.

Oh no. She brought up milkshake. Thank you for inciting 'Thee craving.'

"Okay okay. Enough. You guys promised only ten minutes" the guy with black hair said. He was ruining my happy moment with my friends and I barely knew him. I wanted to tell him to go away but I kept my cool. All my friends walked out, including the weird boy with brown hair, leaving me alone with black-head.

"Babe, I know you got amnesia and seems like you forgot your boyfriend" he said with a genuine face. "Name's Jordan by the way. Though you preferred to call me Jordie."

What? I had amnesia? But most importantly, I had a hot boyfriend? OMG best day of my life!

"But how is that possible? I'm such a spoiled brat (yes, I came to realize it) and you're so perfect?" I asked with a confused expression in such a small voice I doubt he even heard me. "Oh it was easy. You were attracted to me in the beginning, confessed your undying love for me and I asked you out." Jordan replied. "Might I add, I saved you when you got hurt" he said while pointing to the white bandage wrapped around my head.

He sat beside me and watched me sleep. Under his breath, he muttered something and I only picked up the words "Don't worry princess, it'll be soon over."

I slept like a baby that night. No worries. No teenage drama. Just peace. Hard to get, complete peace.

I woke up to the sun's bright rays shining through the window and making everything ten times brighter. I rubbed my eyes in an effort to adjust to my blurry surroundings.

"It's a god thing you're awake now. Your food was almost getting cold" mum said with a smile.

I dreamt that I had a really hot boyfriend and he liked me a lot. As if to make sure it wasn't a dream, Jordan walked in. He bent down and kissed my cheek lightly, making me turn bright red. Confirmed. It was not a dream. In the corner of my eye, I saw mother who didn't look quite pleased. It was my happiness anyway.

Mum left to give me time with my boyfriend. I grinned at that thought every time  it played in my head. Jordan sat down on the bed and we chatted about a lot of things. He teased me a lot but I liked it anyway.

After being in the hospital for what seemed like forty days and forty nights, Doctor Harper said I would be discharged tomorrow. He said I had a fast healing system.

I received a lot of gifts and cards from people. The flowers I had were enough to decorate for weddings and candy enough for trick or treating.

I was so excited because I would be going to Wonder Resort with my friends and it was almost the end of the term.

Chapter 12 done! Don't hate Jordan. He's human just like you and I. So yeah, I'll be back from school on the 5th of August and I can't wait to upload the next chapter. Don't forget to vote, share and comment if you like my story. Other social media info:
