what if josh purposely turned himself into a wendigo because of the guilt he felt after what he did to his friends, or the guilt he still felt about not being able to save his sisters, or seeing what really happened to hannah after she went missing?
what if josh was so distraught that he ate human flesh because he thought he deserved to become a monster?i thought about how wendigo!hannah had dragged josh away after the encounter in the water, and how josh never really tried to escape the mines when wendigo!hannah left him. the game never really showed josh facing an injury, however there could be other reasons he didn't leave the mines and turned into a wendigo.
what are your personal thoughts or theories on this matter? i'm really curious to see, especially after the "why did josh arrange his victims the way he did" discussion in the comments.
