The joy was in looking down at her
from the corner of my eye, as an
euphoric feeling gushed through my veins,
as an uncontrollable smile broke out,
and as a strange and silly giddiness took over,
I listened to my heart convincing me that it was love, it had to be love.
But the tragedy was that she'd never know.
