The Broken Girl In The Host Club 《On Hold》

Chapter 9

After Yuri scolded the hosts and the wolves they went to the host club room to explain further everything.

The wolf, Xavier, explained about what happened to their previous encounter and apologized for his action that night, to which the Hosts accepted.

Yuri explained the to the hosts about the long lost Alpha of the White Wolf tribe. They all looked closely to see that every one of them has white hair. After the wolf part, Yuri explained to the wolves why she can't leave Haruhi.

Once they all understood the situation they all hangout and became friends but a certain male with glasses is still cautious to them. Not that Yuri can help it.

••Yuri's POV••

A few day have passed since the host club met the wolves and also since then the wolves won't leave my side during free period and club hours. They would request me and if people other than the hosts gets close to me they would glare at them making the other guest cower in fear and the wolves immediately got scolded by yours truly to make them suck it up.

I was now currently going to the headmaster's office because...

★Flashback★

Science is a drag! How does science relate to Haruhi and I's scholarship? I know Haru is supposed to be an honor student and I'm a musician, but really? How can science relate to us when we grow up? I thought to myself as the teacher was discussing the right combination to chemicals in the tubes.

I was nodding off when a chime caught every student's attention.

"Fujioka Yuri of class 1-A please report to the Head Master's office immediately. I repeat, Fujioka Yuri of class 1-A please report to the Head Master's office immediately." The announcer said making me snap out of my daze and having all eyes of everyone in class on me.

I quickly stood up and excused myself as I go out.

★Flashback End★

I was now in front of the Head Master's office after getting lost so many time.

Damn large school. I grumble to myself.

I took a deep breath to ease my nerves and knocked three times. I waited until I heard a faint 'come in' on the other side of the door. I opened the door and went inside; I silently closed the door behind me and stood in front of Mr. Souh's chair. He was looking at some documents in front of him but set it down and looked at me seriously. It went for a while until.....

"Yuri-chan, you're as cute as my son says you are~" He said with a smile like Tamaki's. The serious atmosphere was broken and was replaced with sunshine and rainbow.

Now I know where Tamaki's child like attitude came from. I thought to myself.

"Why don't you sit down and I'll get us tea to drink." He said standing swiftly covering the document for me to be unable to read. I nodded and took a seat at a couch near his head table away from the documents.

He came back with a set of tea and placed it in front of us and sat down on a chair adjacent from the couch I was seating on.

He started spouting nonsense about how cute I was and how he wanted to adopt me if dad and Haru didn't adopt me and bunch of other things similar to what Tamaki would say. It took all of me to remain calm and keep my wolf from clawing him apart.

I took a couple of sips to relax until I remembered why I was here. I placed the tea down and sat up straight and turned to him cutting him off from his speech.

"Sir, you called me here to discuss something?" I said slowly so I don't seem like rushed and impolite.

"Ah yes about that." He said placing his cup of tea down as well. "I know the truth about you Miss Ichinose." He continued with a smile that is less easy going. I tensed up and became nervous.

"How? How did you know my last name? I deleted everything about myself after the Fujioka family found me. So how?" I asked terrified to hear the answers.

"I know you, since your mother and I were childhood friends. She always talk about you when you were still a little child. We lost contact for a while and when I contacted her I found out that she died and Hunters were after you. I secretly tried to find you because I made a promise to look after you when your parents die. After years of looking you came to Ouran and became a student. I only called you now because I want to appear strong when we face each other but I see that it is not working." He said relieving painful memories of the past.

"I know you because your mother once sent me a photo of you saying how cute you were. And still now you are cute." He added.

"Y-You don't need to protect me because over the years I became stronger because I need to protect myself and my new family and just a few days ago I found an ally to help us." I explained my voice betraying me by cracking.

"I appreciate your concern but I have to go back to class." I said getting up. "Thank you for the tea, Mr. Souh." I bowed and started to walk towards the door when he stopped me.

"I have two requests before you go." He said stopping me from my track and turned to face him giving him the signal that I was listening.

"First, call me Uncle." He said in his normal Happy-Go-Lucky self.

"Second," he started seriously, "Mr. Ootori asked me if I know any student who can help him solve a case." He finished sitting down on his chair from when I came in. He motioned me to sit down and handed me the documents he was reading.

"What is this about?" I asked skimming through the papers.

"This is about a gang that is constantly growing. This gang was originally not a problem until three months ago when this gang started to go school to school terrorize students. Beating up the male and enslaving the females. The girls are held captive and until now they are not released from the school." At this point my blood is boiling. "This gang makes the parents not call the police and give them money to free the students and personnel. Some complied but others didn't and one tried to call the police only to have his whole family murdered in front of the other people, student, and personnel. They to show authority and when the parents gave the ransom money they vanish from the school without any trace. It happened again and same thing happened but this time with people from the news department appeared. They announced their names as the 'Red Blood Gang'. The demands got higher and higher each school they targeted. And it gets closer and closer to Ouran's premises and the school they targeted two weeks ago got wiped out because the police almost caught them the neighboring schools near Ouran asked us to house their learning establishment for a while until the gang is under police custody. We allowed them to stay at Ouran School grounds but they are responsible to maintain clean environment which they quickly and gratefully accepted." He finished explaining and this time my ears and tail are out and my ears are super red it looked like anything I would look at will melt.

"So you want me to use my family skills?" I asked dangerously calm for Mr. Souh's liking.

"Mr. Ootori is requesting for a student has extremely high martial arts skill. We plan to tell all this to all students on tomorrow's assembly. We plan to tell them that they will play along and not to fight back to away of the gang members for their own safety." He said.

"Call Mr. Ootori and tell him to came. Also bring twenty of his strong young fighters that can pose as a high school student." I commanded preparing a battle plan. "Also please call the five white haired students that isolates other people they can help." I added.
