"Demi! Come down here right now!" Her mother called from down stairs; getting of her bed she ran down...or slid down...whatever, she just ended up downstairs. "Oh, what is it that my loving mother who doesn't scream at me want?" She said sarcastically making her mother roll her eyes at her blue haired daughter "Mr.Prinklingsky called today..."her mother started, making her choke on her morning donut; not that she's worried, it's more like...choking from trying not laugh. Her and her friends had drawn the Nirvana logo on his company's headquarters last night in a bright,red spray paint "He told me what you did last night..." She continued "What did I do?" Demi replied trying to act as innocent as possible, which was clearly seen through her grin "Demi Allison Rae Richards, you're 19 years old! All your friends have found a college to go to and y-""All my friends?" Said the blue haired lady, raising her brow "Well, uh...not uhm..""Yeah mom, not my best friends, and neither will I" She stated getting up from the counter "Demi I- You- Me- Ugh" Her mother stuttered as her face fell in her hands bad her daughter climbs up the stairs.
Demi and her mother never actually had your...'#goals ' kind of relationship, of course you couldn't blame her for it, her mother was barely there. And you can't really develop a mother-daughter relationship without the...well, er..mother I guess.

Switching her phone off, she grabbed a pair of boots,her skateboard and ran out; stuffing her headphones in her ear.

__________________________ Stopping when she saw her friends red convertible; she held her skateboard between her arm and her waist walking into Leroy's Tattoo and Piercing Parlor, seeing her blonde friend on the seat about to get her nose pierced "Hey Mel, what's up?""The Sky" The blonde said calmly "What do you wanna do later...at you know...wake up time..." She whispered to Demi "I was thinking...Dunkin' Donuts...""We're gonna eat?""No, we go in a few minuets before closing time, and hog all the donuts." The blue haired punk said giggling slightly "As long as I get the jelly filled ones..." Melanie stated. This of course, was nothing for them...It's not that they were rebels...they liked calling themselves 'strong believers' who believed that you should live this life to the fullest cause it's the only one you've got... __________________________ "And then I climbed this gigantic to-" Just as Melanie was to wrap up her amazing story about her day in the school basement, she got interrupted by a ringing phone "Uhm...It's McKenna, I'll be right back you guys" Said the brown haired boy walking out . "Is Miles seriously still with that shiitake mushroom?" Demi says disgusted "They broke up last night" the blonde boy stated "Are you serious? Luke McKenna and Miles are no joke"Melanie says jokingly "Yeah, they did. But based on the fact that he just picked up her call they must be getting back together..."Luke said stuffing a fry in his mouth "They're literally the definition of 'on and off relationships'" Melanie says as she rolls her eyes "Why? Is little Mel Bell jealous?" Luke told his little sister in a baby voice "Shut up Luke" She scolded back, making the blue haired beauty giggle "To be honest Mel, he isn't wrong..."Demi stated "Ha!Demi's with me!" He said childishly high-fiving her as Miles came back in "Let me guess..."Demi started, tapping on her chin pretending to think "You're back together aren't you?" Luke says in a not-this-again tone "Guys, she didn't do any-" before Miles could finish, Melanie interrupts him coldly "didn't do anything? Miles, she freaking cheated on you twice! You can't just forgive her over and over!" She scolded "I know, but...she's just so...ugh" He tries to explain as his head hits the table "Whatever".
"So, plans for tonight girls?" Luke asks "I was thinking Project Donut..."Demi explains...

Once again, she's dressed in black, in the middle of the night getting ready to live her life which was right out that window...
"Ok, Mel?" Miles asks "Yeah?""You and Demi go in and grab the donuts" he says giving them a bag "Luke'll be distracting the guards and I'll wait outside, deal?" He explains as the girls nod and get out of the car.
"Excuse me sir!" Luke says to a security guard "Yes lad?" Said the man with a slight accent "Uhm do you like chicken?" He says seriously "What?" The man replies confused "CHICKEN!" He shouts making chicken sound and pecking around "boy, do you need a hospital" The man asks worried as Luke just kept going on "DO YOU LIKE CHICKEN SIR!PLEASE!" He says pleadingly and seriously "Uhm..." __________________________ After chickening for an hour he saw the girls walking back out and stood up straight and patted the confused guards back, tipping his imaginary hat "See ya mate" He says copying the guards Australian accent and walking to the girls, leaving his speechless
"How much did you get?" He asks "Half the donuts and 3 ice cream buckets" Melanie says stuffing her face "That should be enough to live in" Miles shrugs getting in the car as he drove off into the city lights, Greenday blasting on the radio and donuts on theirs hands.
