Yes, in the description of this book it says "Including some of my personal experiences and embarrassing moments." and I haven't exactly been living up to that. Sure I told you about some stories from seventh grade, aka AN ENTIRE YEAR AGO, but I have yet to tell you any of my eighth grade stories and I've literally been out of school for two weeks.
So I decided that this chapters gonna celebrate some of my "exciting" eighth grade moments and a little more info about who I am in school. All names are changed for safety. (<- I actually don't think I mention any names xD)
Friends
For lack of a better word my friends are... interesting (but in a good way of course). If you guys may have guessed based on my other book ( Just Emo Stuff, go check it out #plug) I am in the "emo" clique. However I have many other friends and I tend to have friends in different cliques around the school. I don't really have one best friend, I have multiple. Usually one or two in each different group I hang out with. I'm pretty much on good terms with everyone aside from a select few.
Relationships? 0-0
I just got out of a relationship actually, it was a little over 6 months, and I currently have a small crush (but that is not important right now!). That's all I have to say about that.
Teachers & Subjects?
Over the course of the day I have a total of six classes. English, Science, History, Math, Seminar, French, and then a special (chorus, health or gym depending on the day) Unlike most schools mine follows at chart system instead of have the same schedule on the same days.
So my favorite subject is definitely math and/or English, I do enjoy history but that subject is at the bottom of my list mostly because of the teacher (I'm sorryyyy). I really do love my English and math teachers this year too (last year I hated English because of the teacher, but this year it changed).
My science class is kinda on the fence though. The teacher is okay, he has quite a temper though.
I also take French, and I absolutely dread this class.Don't get me wrong I love speaking french, but I just hate the teacher. Don't even get me started on her, I could literally write a new chapter just ranting about her.
Trips?
Our school takes one big field trip per grade. In fifth grade we travel to Boston for a day, in sixth we go to natures classroom (we camp for a week, its super fun), in seventh we go to New York for the weekend and then lastly for eighth grade we go to Washington.
To start there was a *almost* twelve hour bus ride to the 4H center where we were staying for the week, once we got there we went straight to our rooms. The rooms were like college dorms but the guys rooms were better in my opinion. Then over the course of the next three days we went to the zoo and the national cathedraland many memorials, museums, and tours around Washington.
Washington in one word it was...conflicting? There was really amazing moments but then there was some not so fun times...mostly personal drama that was going on at the time. All the places we went were beautiful, and I had so much fun with my friends, I'm so glad I decided to go.
That's pretty much everything I could think of to tell you, I hope you liked this chapter, I had fun writing this. It got me remembering stuff from early in the school year, but yea! Like I said I've been out of school for two weeks now. So technically I'm in high school! Should I keep the book up even though I'm a high schooler now?
