I woke up with my head pounding. I was standing on my toes with my wrists chained to the ceiling. The room I was in was small and dark, with only one flickering light above me.
I heard the door behind me being opened. I jumped slightly when I felt a ice cold hand run over the small of my back.
"Good your awake." Ash said with a smirk. I glared at him.
"Your arms must be tired. Would you like me to let you down?" Now that I think of it, my arms were in serious pain. I nodded me head and Ash smirked.
He went behind me and loosened the restraints causing me to fall to the floor. He picked me up gently and carried me out of the room.
I was still a bit distorted but I could kinda make out the surroundings. It wasn't the big house I remembered and I didn't really see many people. A guard here and there but that was about it.
Ash put me down and stuck a needle into my arm, it was like an IV.. and it hurt!
"Ow! What the hell is this!" I yelled, reaching for the needle but Ash held down my arms.
"It's diluted wolfsbane, to keep you from killing anyone." Ash explained. It was making me feel dizzy.
"I wanna go home." I said softly. I wanted to drift off to sleep but Ash kept me awake.
"No sleeping yet princess." Despite his wishes I couldn't hold myself to stay awake and I drifted off to a light sleep.
---
I woke up to someone vigorously shaking me.
"C'mon Hailes please wake up!" Wait was that Shane? I opened my eyes and Shane's lit up. "Great your awake, now we have to go." The needle was ripped out of my arm and I stood up, still a bit wobbly.
I looked at Shane. He was injured. He had a long gash on his ribs and many brushes and scrapes.
"Wha-what happened?" I asked.
"I will tell you later, I promise. Right now, we just need to get out of here. He picked me up grunting in the process.
What the hell was going on?
Once we were outside I felt like I was going to throw up. It looked like World War III.
The grass wasn't even green anymore because it was stained with blood. I counted over five dozen bodies, including wolves with gashes all over them. I also saw many wolves, whimpering at their loss of loved ones which hurt my heart in ways I can't describe.
Shane was carrying me away from all the horror but little did I know that there was more to come. We were going deeper into the woods the small house I was trapped in was becoming harder and harder to see.
I heard growls coming from a distance. We reached a extremely large clearing, but stayed on the outskirts. I saw many warrior and guard wolves fighting against possible vampires and humans that had sided with Ash. Gun shots were going off and I heard many whimpers. They had silver bullets. But the wolves kept fighting hard. Ash was no where to be seen but three wolves seemed oddly familiar. It was my father, mother, and...
Jet.But before I could say anything Shane sprinted away. The noises were becoming more faint and Shane was still running. I need to go back and help. I pushed myself out of Shane's arms and hit the ground hard.
I stood up and started wobbly walking back to where the fighting was going on. But of course Shane stopped me.
"No! I need to go help." I yelled turning around to face Shane.
