I just got the news of Ji Ae not coming to school today. After grabbing my backpack, I made my way to the entrance and started walking.

I walked to school by myself today because I just felt like walking in silence and peace because my ankle was still a bit injured so I had a little limp while I walked. Ha Ri and Soyeon were already at school anyways. After about 20 minutes of limping and a bit of struggling, I finally got to the school and made my way to the practice room.

"Ha Ri! Soyeon!" I yelled as soon as I was a few feet from the practice room.

"Oh! It's y/n!" I could hear Soyeon gasp and they both ran out.

"Yah what took you so long? We were worried!" Soyeon held my shoulders.

I looked down at my limping ankle and they followed my eyes.

"What happened?" They both bent down to look at my bandage that was wrapped around my ankle.

"I fell while practicing..." I rubbed my neck.

"Come here." Ha Ri and Soyeon put both my arms over their shoulders.

"I'm ok. You don't need to do that," I chuckled but they insisted.

"No no! You were limping! I saw you!" Ha Ri
said as they helped me into the practice room.

"Ok." They sat me down on the floor.

"When did that happen?" Ha Ri asked.

"Yesterday. I was practicing when you guys left and while I was practicing, I fell and hurt my ankle." I explained.

"But how did you get to the nurse's office?" Ha Ri asked.

I kept searching for excuses to use in my head. But I just have up.

"J-Jin helped me..." I hesitated.

"Jin?" They had a surprised look on their faces.

"Yeah...we're actually friends now" I smiled.

"Really?" They seemed confused.

"Well I actually asked him to be my friend. He's actually really nice. He carried me to the nurse's office." I said.

"Ohhh. So that was you!" Soyeon said.

"But how did he agree to be your friend so easily?" Ha Ri asked.

"Food." I simply answered.

"Huh?" They were confused.

"Nothing." I laughed "I'm gonna go walk around a bit."

"We'll go with you." Soyeon said.

"It's ok I can walk. You guys need to practice too! And Ji Ae isn't coming to school today. Something came up." I said as I got up and slowly walked out.

I made my way outside the school building. After looking around for a bit, I found a bench and decided to have a little rest. Sitting there, I enjoyed the fresh air and melodic chirping of the birds.

"Oh! Jin!" I spotted Jin walking into the school gates. He heard me and turned to see me.

"Come here!" I mouthed the words while gesturing with my hands.

He walked towards me and then sat next to me on the bench.

"How's your ankle?" He asked.

"A bit better. I can walk a bit now." I replied.
