Moving On

*Y/N's POV*

"So we're walking there?" I asked as we held hands.

"Mhm. It's close." he said with a smile.

"Oh do you have homework?" he looked over to me.

"Nope. Finished right before the bell~" I sang.

"Focus on me." he suddenly stopped.

"What?" I turned to look at him.

"Look into my eyes."

"Why?"

"Because." he suddenly gave me an intense stare.

A few seconds pass.

"Don't do that!" I giggled "You know I can't take stuff like that seriously."

His intense staring went away and he was also giggling.

"I just wanted to see you smile."

"Hey that's not fair. We basically know everything about each other since we're childhood friends." I smiled and continued swinging or hands.

"We're here~" he stopped and I also stopped.

"The cafe?" I looked at the cafe logo and he nodded.

"There's a new drink here and I wanted both of us to try it." after saying that he pulled me into the small building.

"Two chocolate mint shakes please." he ordered.

I decided to sit down at the table by the window so I could stare at the sun slowly setting. Jinyoung then came back with two green shakes.

"What's it called?" I stared at the mysterious drink.

"Chocolate mint shake~"

"Ooooooh" I took one of the cups as he sat on the seat across from me.

I happily sipped the refreshing drink as the bells on the entrance door rang. It seemed to be a couple but I didn't pay attention much. I widely smiled at Jinyoung as if to say "thank you"

"Babe let's try their new drink~" a familiar voice rang into my ear and my eyes shot up to the counter to see a familiar girl and guy.

The girl had bright pink curled hair, a short dress and was linking arms with, huh that's not hard to guess...Jin.

My expression changed as memories of our small cafe dates flashed into my head. I turned my bead to the window to avoid him seeing me and so that I don't cry.

"Crap why now..." I sighed and I faked a smile to help me to stop the tear.

"You ok?" Jinyoung looked up.

I turned my head as if there was nothing wrong, "Yeah I'm fine." I forced the fakest smile ever.

"No you're not." he stared into my eyes but suddenly turned around after a familiar chuckle echoed through the small shop.

I watched him as he glared at the man sitting with his "girlfriend"

"What the f*ck is he doing here?" his voice suddenly rose.

"Let them be oppa. I need to get out of here." I grabbed my drink and quickly walked out avoiding any eye contact.

*Jinyoung's POV*

I watched as she ran out of the shop.

"Y/n..." I looked over to the other table to see what Jin and Soo Mi were doing.

Soo Mi grinned at me and turned back to talk to Jin. She had a smile as if she just won a battle.

"B*tch.." I mumbled and went out up look for y/n.

She was sitting on a bench bent over so I couldn't see her face. I quickly went to sit next to her.

"Hey...look at me..." I lifted her chin up to face me.

*Y/N's POV*

He lifted my chin but I avoided eye contact.

"Don't let Soo Mi get to you. She's doing this to see you suffer." I can sense his intense staring.

I decided to look at him, "Well she's doing a good job at it."

He sighed, "Just let them go. That b*tch always gets what she wants. She has Jin and is trying to control you. She knows your weakness y/n. Don't let Jin be your weakness. You'll keep hurting. I'm here for you."

I just stared at him. Right into his eyes and thought.

After a while of thinking I decided to finally give up.

"Then please....help me forget him.." I closed my eyes and let the tear stream down my face.

A soft feeling gently hit my lips. His tender kisses made my heart flutter as I respond by kissing him back.

Please end my suffering...

It's been two years already. Jinyoung and I are having our 2 year anniversary today. Jin and Soo Mi transferred out a week after we saw them at the cafe that one day. Never heard of them since. But I'm happy with Jinyoung now.

I've moved on.

"You guys doing anything?" Ji Ae asked as I made kimbap.

"Picnic~" I danced along to the song playing.

"Ooh."

"How are you and your single self doing?" I chuckled.

Ji Ae loudly sighed.

"Hey its not your fault you rejected Taehyung. I get it it was your first time so you got nervous and ran away. But at least you guys still talk. I'm pretty sure he'll ask again one day." I shrugged as I wrapped the last kimbap.

"I guess. How are you doing in Uni?" I raised my brow as she changed the subject.

"Fine I guess. I have an essay to do but I'll do it later. I'm on break so I have a lot of time."

"I'm getting a call from Taehyung. Text me when you're done."

As soon as she hung up the doorbell rang.

"In a minute!"I yell out as I pack up the food and fix my dress.

After packing up I grabbed the basket and made my way to the door.

"Ready?" Jinyoung smiled as I open the door.

"Yup!"I smiled and linked my arm with his.
