I didn't hesitate to take a cookie off the table as soon as I thought mom wasn't looking, but like every time I think I'm being sneaky, She turned around and snatched the cookie from my hand and gripped it tightly causing it to crumble a bit. She then stared at me," what is wrong with you child, you're freaking 11 years old! " I got a little teary eyed and a small tear rolled down my cheek, assuming mother would be mad if she saw me crying, I violently wiped the tears from my face as mother approached me. She was soon standing right in front of me looking at my slightly red toned nose, a good indication I'd been crying even though I really wasn't even actually crying. She grabbed my face and squeezed it, causing my lips to smash together and I bit my lip, hard, My mother then proceeded to observe the blood dripping out of my mouth. I winced and she let go of my face and dabbed my lip with a washrag, I gave her a slight smile, but she didn't return any emotion back to me. She looked as if she wanted to say something but hesitated, then she looked at me," goodnight Leigh." She said. I instantly gave her a very confused look," but it's morning mother." I said, she proceeded to walk to her room and I followed her to the doorway of her room before watching her close the door and hearing the click of the lock. I screamed and kicked the door and punched the door and banged on the door," Mom let me in!" I screamed, but mother was unresponsive," Mother, right now!" I yelled but still no answer. So I walked to my room, slammed the door shut, and went to bed.
