The theme of Issue #2 will be Apocalyptic SF.
Have you got an apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic short story rattling around in your head just screaming to be set free? Well if that's the case, how would you like that story to be featured in next month's issue?
Submission rules are simple, and are as follows...
1 - Your story cannot feature anywhere else.
2 - Your story must be as edited as humanly - or alienly - possible. Perfection would be nice but the odd typo will be overlooked.
3 - It probably goes without saying but your story must broach the subject of the Apocalypse in one form or another.
4 - To submit your story simply email it to forbiddenplanetwattpad@live.co.uk as a .doc or .odt file - That's MS Word, or OpenOffice. Please ensure to include your Wattpad username in the email.
5 - Your story must be no more than 6,000 words in length.
6 - The final date we'll accept submissions is Monday, September 16th.
7 - Sit back and wait. You'll hear back from us whether we intend to use your story or not!
