Levi's Point Of View.
I waited forever to hear those words. I couldn't even tell if I was crying or not, probably, it felt like it. But it was because of joy.
I kept hugging him. I just kept doing it because of how happy I felt. But.. Would he accept my feelings towards him? It was too early to confess. I'll save it till later.
"If I were to love you like in the past life, would you accept my feelings..?" I asked. "No. If you were to ask, I wouldn't accept. I'm in a relationship." Eren said. My heart sank. Good going, Levi.
"Because we loved each other before, can't mean we found new love. I've forgotten to talk to them recently though.." He said. "Yeah. That was just the past life. Feelings can change towards another." I said.
"Hey, at least we don't love each other in this life. We found our own people." He said. "Who are they?" I asked. "That's a secret, I'll tell you soon enough."
I had looked pretty sad. My mood changed pretty quickly. From happy to sad and heartbroken. I couldn't show him these feelings though, he'd know I never moved on even in this life. It was heartbreaking to know that the love of your life in a past life ha found someone better than you.. It hurts.
"Are you okay? You're pacing, and you look sad." He said. "I'm fine, brat..." I said. I could tell calling him 'brat' made him slightly annoyed. "Uh. Whatever you say." He said.
"Well, you're here now, is there anything you had planned to do?" I asked. "I wanna ask you something. Why'd we do it?" He asked. "Do what?" I said. "Our deaths. Why'd we let it happen? We could have gotten out of the situation." He said. The question annoyed me. "We were outta gas, numbers, blades.. And you were exhausted." I said. "I could have became my Titan. I'd just be smaller and weaker.. But I could have gotten us out of the situation." He said. "We would have lost more people.. It was their reference point, their perfect game.." I said. Eren didn't seem to understand.

A/N: Well, I had originally planned a bad twist, possibly ending the story. But I decided with the small twist instead of the big one. I had also made a slight reference to the AoT manga. But anyways. Enjoy~ hate, or like. Opinions are opinions. And I respect them all.
