Livy's POV
I woke up with a blurry vision and voices.
"Both breathing. The girl has better activity than the boy."
"Guys... Look. The girl is awake."
It took me a few seconds for my vision to recover.
"Are you alright?" I saw a females head over me.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Just hold still, we're taking you to emergency room."
I looked around at my surroundings. From the right there was several equipment. And from the left, there was someone else laying down with their head turned away.
"Your friend." The lady told me. She walked over and turned his head up. It was Hayes.
"What happened to him?" I cried.
"He fell on you." She looked out the window. "We're here."
The back door to the ambulance truck was opened by a man. He took out the gurney Hayes was laying on.
"Don't worry, you'll see him soon." She moved it out and pushed it into the emergency room.
As I was pushed I watched Hayes being pushed in front of me. I really wanted him to go into the same room as me, so I can know what's happening.
However, I ended up going into a different room.
Hayes' Doctor's POV
"Get him set up, we'll take as long as we can for him to wake up." I commanded my assistant.
I watched her walk over to our machines. But before she did anything, she was staring at the window.
"Uh... Sir?" She said.
"What?"
She took the curtains by the middle and opened them. A whole roaring crowd of fans screamed.
"Well don't open the windows!" I screamed.
"Sorry!" She closed them as quickly as possible, but the noise still would not stop.
"Wake up! Wake up!" The fans yelled repeatedly.
"How did they even know?" I slapped my head.
"He's on a tour, someone on it must've said something."
"Just, put him on the machines." I sighed.
Livy's POV
"Wake up! Wake up!" I heard fans outside the window.
"Do you think if you looked out the window it would get them to stop?" My doctor asked.
"I'll try, not counting on anything." I turned around and opened up the curtains. The whole crowd blasted out loud. I looked back at my doctor. "Maybe I should slightly open the window and give a speech."
"Quick."
"K." I opened the window and saw the front hands fly up. I reached down and touched a few.
"HELLO EVERYONE!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "I NEED TO TELL YOU ALL SOMETHING!" The crowd kind of quieted down, but not fully. "ALRIGHT. NOW, I LOVE YOU ALL. EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. BUT I'M SURE ME AND HAYES ARE NOT THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THIS ENTIRE HOSPITAL. THERE ARE SERIOUSLY SICK PEOPLE HERE THAT NEED THEIR PEACE AND QUIET, WHICH IS WHY IM ASKING FOR EVERYONE TO PLEASE LEAVE. TO MAKE THINGS BETTER, I CAN HAVE A MEET UP SOMEWHERE NEARBY WHEN I'M OUT. I'LL TWEET THE TIME, DATE, AND PLACE. I LOVE YOU ALL AND I'M SO SORRY." I waved, smiled, and closed the door.
"First time that's happened here." The doctor joked. "So from what I've seen, you're fine. Obviously you have a bit of a headache, but nothing too major."
"What about Hayes?"
She looked at me in the eyes and lost her speech. "I- I don't know."
The door slowly opened behind her. It was Hayes' doctor. "I happened to have overheard you guys, and I know the answer to your question, Livy." He closed the door behind him and came over to kneel near the edge of my bed. "Hayes is now awake."
A smile grew on my face.
"But he's not looking as good as you are."
And my smile grew back down. "What do you mean?"
"He has lost a lot of his memory." He held onto my hand. I shook it off.
"How much?"
"I think your real question is, 'does he still remember me?' And the answer to that is... " He looked down at his knees. "No."
I felt dizzy. I felt like I wanted to flip and break everything in this room. I felt like the walls were closing in on me. I felt like I wanted to run into his arms and say "I love you." But I can't. He'll think I'm mental.
"Come with me. We can go see him." He stood up and helped me out of bed. As we were walking I felt like I was going faster than him.
Once we got there and he began turning the knob, he stopped for a second. "Remember this when you go in there. For you you're seeing a boy you already know that does not know you back, but for him, he's meeting this whole new person. He doesn't know anything about you. In fact, you're the third person he's met again. Me and my assistant were the first two."
I felt a tear stroll down my face. I knew he was beginning to feel something different about us together, but this is a whole new level. He doesn't even know he ever felt something.
"Am I aloud to say he knew me before and that he has this memory loss?"
"Yes, we already have informed him."
"Okay, I'd like to go in please." He slowly open the door, and already I look to see Hayes' blue eyes shoot my way. It's too bad those blue eyes don't know they already saw me.
"Hello." He waved. "Who are you?"
I took a deep breath, trying to hold back my tears. "Livy."
"Oh. I think I'm B- B-"
"Yes. You're Benjamin Hayes Grier."
He looked up at me in confusion. "Why do you know that?"
I walked up to the side of his bed. "I know you, you just don't remember me."
"How did I know you?" At that point I lost it. "Why are you upset?" He asked. He took his thumb and wiped the tears off my face.
"I loved you, Hayes." I sniffled.
"Ohhh, are you my girlfriend?" He asked.
It took me a long pause to answer. "I don't know."
