Take That - Chapter 20

Livy's POV

It's later on in the day and everyone got to meet Hayes for the second time. I suppose everyone agrees Tez got the best introduction. Everyone else was sad, but Tez just looked angry.

Right now it was 10 PM and it was just me and Hayes talking. We weren't allowed to have visitors, and I was kind of happy. It was only me and him together.

Alone.

"Livy." My doctor came in. "It's time to go back to your room."

"Okay." I began to get up when I felt Hayes hand grab mine.

"Bud, you can see her tomorrow." My doctor tried to act normal.

He started at me and moved his hand away. As he was moving it I feel some sort of paper left over in my hand.

"Bye, Hayes." I smile.

"Bye."

I walked out anxious to read what he handed me. I walked super fast trying not to act suspicious around everyone. Once I got to my room I plopped right on my bed and opened the folded paper, which ended up being two pieces of paper together.

Dear Livy,

I found this in the pocket of the clothes I was wearing when we fell down the stairs.

I took the piece of paper from behind it and read it. The first thing I noticed was a big red X over the entire paper, but it was still easy to read what was under it.

It was titled "Getting Livy to Become my Girlfriend". I chuckled a little.

1. Surprise her on her birthday.

2. Bring her to New York before everyone else (Ashley and Shawn along).

3. Bring her to the Statue of Liberty.

4. Say these exact words, "I wanted to make this official. I wanted to do this since the day I saw your face. I want to be able to carry you on my back, hold your hand, wrap my arm arm around you, kiss you anywhere you prefer, and just hold you in my arms in general. I want to be able to introduce you as 'my girlfriend, Livy.'"

5. Hopefully she says yes.

My head started turning and turning. And then I started crying. And then it all came to me.

The fans are the reason Hayes has no memory anymore.

They ruined his plan to ask me out.

He took it as a sign that we weren't meant to be.

I talked to him about it and he told me to go fuck myself.

He ran after me to tell me something. Which I will still never know.

And then he fell. And lost his memory.

The fans were the cause. They started it. And I'm not letting this go out easy.

I picked up my phone and went on Twitter with my face a red as an apple. I've never felt worse. And I wanted the fans to feel the same way.
