We all walk in the room. I see a piano. It's a beautiful ebony black and it looks so new. It's beautiful.
Flash back
"You put your hands on this key," Mama tells me. "Ok," I reply.
I remember her teaching me to play. All the time. I start run my hands along the key board. I play one of my favorites song I start to sing while playing.

"And there she goes
She was sitting really nice with her head full of advice from friends
She walks around
She tries to rearrange but everything goes under her bed

And it's countless
She's got a jar full of change saved up for vacation
And she's watching
She's watching her sons growing up just like their mom

And it's hard
And I said Ruby, Ruby, Ruby
Gotta start lifting your head up, head up, head up
And I said Ruby, Ruby, Ruby
I know it's hard but you gotta get outta bed, outta bed, outta bed

Yeah she don't know what to do
She's got everything and nothing to lose
She got a call from a guy just seeing if she's alright
Yeah

She's got a fistful of tears held back by the strength of five
And she says, "Happiness ain't free
Everybody fights just like me
But I've given up the ability to retreat"

And I said Ruby, Ruby, Ruby
You gotta start lifting your head up, head up, head up
And I said Ruby, Ruby, Ruby
I know it's hard but you gotta get outta bed, outta bed, outta bed

Yeah she don't know what to do
She's got everything, nothing to lose
Yeah

Yeah you've got time to figure it out
I'm here so don't be scared
You've got time to figure it out
I'm here and I am here

You've got time to figure it out
I'm here so don't be scared
You've got time to figure it out
I'm here so don't be scared

Ruby, Ruby, Ruby
And I said Ruby, Ruby, Ruby
And I said Ruby, Ruby, Ruby
And I said Ruby, Ruby, Ruby
All alone, rest your head on my lap when you're down
All alone, rest your head on my lap, on my lap
Ruby don't cry."
I start to finish the song and fell the tears well up in my eyes. I run to the restroom. "This is pathetic Maya," I tell myself. I'm so immature I'm crying like a freaking crybaby
(Crybaby, so you laugh through your tears). I hear a knock. On no. I wash my face and walk outside. "We found the lead singer of our band." I hear Evan shout. "What the freak, I thought you were joking," I say. "Um no," she says. "I am not the lead singer of your band plus I can't even sing!" I yell I don't know why I get so mad. "Ok we're sorry we aren't starting a band I swear.

If you didn't know the song is called ruby by foster the people. Please listen to it.
