I hear the his large steps begging to make their way to my room. And I know he is filing to beat me. It's worse when is drunk. I panic do I hide or stay. I look around the room. A window. I quickly get a photo of Mama and I, some cloths, my MP3, and some $75 cash I hid from him. I run to the window opening it's latch. I hear the doorknob turn as I climb through the window. Thank god that it was only a one story house. I jump done the window landing with a soft thump on the ground. And I start to run.
