The Protector

The minute you accept Jesus and get filled with the Holy Spirit you have access to divine protection. You are assigned powerful angels who watch over you with love and care and your safety is taken very seriously.
The Holy Spirit looks after your safety and becomes your protector once you accept Jesus. He prompts you when you are in danger, disobeying these promptings can be disastrous.
Most of the time you will not even know how much trouble you have been saved from just because you followed the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defense.- Psalms 59:9

You are not only protected from the world but also from the influences of evil spirits, demons and the kingdom of evil. The Holy Spirit gives you the gift of discernment that will greatly aid you when you take part in spiritual warfare.

Can a woman forget her sucking child? Yea, they may forget, yet I will not forget thee-Isaiah 49:15

God shields you from your enemies, He watches over you and protects you. When you do face danger, he is with you and will never abandon you. God is saying that even if a woman abandons her own child He will not abandon you.

REAL LIFE INSPIRATION

This is a true story that happened in Ranchi, India. It happened during the time of board exams.
The students who clear this exam move on from school to college so its a very important period of their life.
A young girl had just accepted Jesus in her life. She was out studying at a friends place and it was getting dark. The areas she had to go across to get home were empty isolates and regarded as unsafe.
She decided to get home as soon as she can. She was a bit frightened going alone, but she had no choice and set out to reach home.
The next day she was called to the police station to give her statement. She was both surprised and shocked to discover a girl who came behind her about 5 minutes later was brutally raped.
The perpetrator was eventually caught and he was made to confess. He was asked why he chose the other girl and not this one although she came later.
The rapist answered that this girl was not alone. A man followed her from behind and I could not touch her when he was with her. This man was Jesus himself.This is the kind of protection that you receive when God seals you with his Holy Spirit.

LIFE APPLICATION

*God takes your protection seriously and you are protected when you accept Jesus, much more than anything man can provide.
*Miracles happen constantly around you that keep you safe, you may not even be aware of most of them.
*Be grateful and thank God for the love and protection he offers his children.
