The Guide

The possibility of being guided by the Holy Spirit is being able to be led by God himself. One of the great promises of the New Testament is that we can now have the Spirit of God dwelling inside us and guiding us in all things permanently.

REAL LIFE INSPIRATION

A mother was once prompted to pray for her daughter by the Holy Spirit. The message was so powerful that the mother was in tears, and she could not understand why.
This went on for about a week, although everything seemed fine with her daughter she was constantly reminded to pray the same prayer for her daughter's well being.
One fine morning she got news from her daughter's husband that her daughter was blue in her face and was barely breathing. The daughter was rushed in the ICU and they discovered that her heart had stopped beating. She was given shocks just to get her heart pumping again.
The doctors diagnosed that she had lost a lot of oxygen and that her organs may shut down anytime. They also said there are high chances of brain damage. She was diagnosed with postpartum cardiomyopathy-a rare, life-threatening condition that can occur after childbirth.
Before leaving for the hospital the mother along with the rest of the family prayed for the safety of the daughter. The daughter was already on life support when they reached. All they could do was pray some more and wait.
Thats when the mother received a sudden calm in her heart. She immediately knew God had heard her prayers and her daughter was going to be all right.
Soon the doctor came in with news that there was nothing short of a miracle that just took place. He has never seen anyone recover from a critical state so fast. The daughter had recovered completely and there was no organ failure or brain damage as feared.
The real beauty of this story was that even before any of this took place the Holy Spirit guided the right people in the family on what to do and prayers were offered. This is the kind of guidance that The Holy Spirit provides.

*Diligently listen to any promptings of the Holy Spirit and obey as they come.
*Even if things look normal on the outside always trust what God tells you.
*Prayers of family members are heard and answered much more than you think.
