A/N: Okay, um... this chapter is rated SPG. Medyo obvious, kanina ko pa kasi inulit ulit. I just separated it from the other chapter just in case you're the type to er... avoid these kinds of things and the chapter is a bit filler-ish but Dani and Capt. James would like to leave something naughty for you. Haha! Wag niyo po ito babasahin habang nasa trabaho kayo, hindi po ako responsable kung mapagalitan kayo ng boss nyo huhu. Pero seryoso, SPG talaga to, pero written with class. Ganoin! HAHA.

For sereace and notmykindoftea because hehehehe.

Also, ENJOY. Here's a monkey for you. 🙈

The first cold drop of rain fell on James' arm and he looked up to find thick, dark clouds covering the sky. Lightning claps in the distance and the clouds soon open, letting thick, heavy rain drops fall. Dani shrieks in surprise when the first few drops of rain meet her skin and they both scramble for the door, hands raised over their heads at a poor attempt of shielding themselves from the rain. She laughs when they find themselves inside the condo, their uniforms streaked with raindrops.

"Nabasa ka ba?" James asks concernedly, his hands wiping away the drops of water on Dani's arms. "Shit, yung maleta mo inuwi ni Gerri no? Wala kang change of clothes."

"I'm fine," Dani says, patting his arms tenderly. "Tubig lang yan. 'Di naman ako asin na natutunaw sa ulan. At saka uuwi na din naman ako in a while."

James frowns, looking out of the glass doors and back at her. "In this weather? I'm not letting you out of this condo in this rain, Dani. If it doesn't stop raining, I'm going to force you to stay here."

"I can call an Uber, James. You don't have to drive me home."

"That's not the point," James pauses, fists clenched by his side. "I... Dani, please."

Dani stared out of the window, the rain pelting hard against the glass and thunder rumbling in the distance. Her eyes fall on a picture frame on his end table and two familiar smiling faces stared back at her and she looks back up at James, his body wrought with tension. She gets it–the man can drive a Boeing jet through a rain-soaked runway for a 1 AM flight bound for San Francisco but James Esteban still worries of traveling by car on a night like this. Dark, raining, and generally unsafe for driving.

"Okay, okay," she runs her hands over his arms, attempting to soothe him. He releases his clenched fists and Dani smiled, tiptoeing to kiss him on the cheek. "Eto na, hindi na ako aalis. Alam ko naman nagaalala ka. I hope you don't mind me staying the night."

"No, of course not."

"Great. Pwede ba ako maki-gamit ng banyo?" Dani asked, lip tucked between teeth. They haven't seen each other in three years–she wouldn't dare cross boundaries in his home without permission.

"Yes. Ay, teka wait," James ran to his room and quickly returned, holding a pair of pink Havaianas flip-flops. Dani laughed. "Uy, wag ka tumawa. I got this for you."

"Ang cute mo," she said, holding the flip flops up to check on it. "San mo to kinuha at bakit mo naman naisipan bumili ng Havs?"

"Sa Rio," he said flatly and Dani laughed again. "Uy, seryoso yon! Isa sa mga last flight ko bago umuwi dito, Rio-London, tapos binili ko yan nung bumaba ako. Naalala kasi kita."
