It stopped raining by the time we got to London. We were now walking through town, stopping in shops every once in a while. We stopped at a Starbucks after walking for about an hour.

Phil and I were holding hands. I couldn't even remember when we started to, but while standing in line, I glanced down to see our fingers interlocked. I looked back up at him and smiled. He smiled back before turning his attention to Dodie, who was playing her uke and singing in the corner of the coffee shop.

"What can I get you two?" The young barista asked, glancing from Phil to me. Phil ordered us both something I had never heard of. She punched it into the register and handed us a receipt, telling us the drinks would be ready in a few minutes.

When we returned to Dodie, she had a little crowd around her, applauding and cheering as she sang. She smiled at us as she continued to play for a while.

"Two toffee almond hot chocolates." The young barista called out, Phil responding by going to get them. I watched as he walked toward her, noticing the smirk forming on her lips. She handed him the drinks, her hand lingering on his hand. I never noticed the roses tattooed on his hands before.

I felt anxious as she laughed at something he said as he turned away and came back to us. He handed me one of the drinks before saying rather loudly, "This one says 'Sexy' with a winky face, so it must be yours." He smiled and kissed my cheek, making my face go red. The Sexy cup was obviously for him, due to the flirty barista.

I glanced at her, and I must say that watching her face fall and her cheeks go pink as she quickly got back to work was extremely satisfying.

"Oooh, Philly, you embarrassed the girl." Dodie giggled as she put her ukulele away in its case. I smiled when Phil laughed and put his arm around my waist as we exited the Starbucks.

It was getting rather late when Dodie yawned and requested to go back to Phil's flat. Phil gave Dodie his keys, saying we could just take the train back. He said he wanted more time with me.

Dodie hugged us as she left to Phil's car, Phil taking my hand in his and leading me to the London Eye.

We were stood below it when he leaned in and kissed me on the mouth.

"I think I really like you." He said between gentle kisses. I tangled my fingers in his dark hair as he pulled me closer to him, his hands resting on my hips.

"A-and I think.." Phil stuttered as he pulled his mouth away from mine, staring rather deeply into my eyes. "I think I want you to be my boyfriend."

I was taken aback by his words. He leaned in again, kissing my cheek, then my chin, then my lips, ever so gently. "I really really like you, Dan. And I want you to know that I think you're amazing and fun and so beautiful."

"Shut up." I laughed, pulling his lips to mine again. This kiss was different from the ones from the night before. These were passionate and full of emotions.

That is when I remembered we had only known each other about a day.

"Well... what do you say?" Phil asked, moving my hair from my eyes.

How could I say no?
