Pagkadating ko sa classroom namin ay nakita ko kaagad si Xander.

"Hey, I thought may pupuntahan kayo nang daddy mo?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Nagpapaalam lang ako sa mga professors natin. And bakit hindi ka pumasok kanina?" May mga dala din syang mga documents at halatang nagmamadali na sya.

And just like that, na excuse si Xander and he will just need to submit some modules to our professors.

"You're asking me that, seriously? You know I was drunk last night and I need to take care of--that girl...yes, that girl" Syempre hindi din alam ni Xander na kilala ko ang babaeng nabangga ko kagabi.

"How is that girl anyway?" nag aalalang tanong nya.

"She's fine" simpleng sagot ko sa kanya "Arent you busy?"

"Aalis na ako ngayon so you better take care of my condo" Paalam nya at tumango naman ako.

"I will. Don't forget to buy some presents for me!" paalala ko sa kanya at pumunta na ako sa upuan ko.

Being tall and not that smart, I chose to sit at the back.

I don't want to sit in the front row since matangkad ako at baka maharangan ang view nang mga classmates ko and most importantly, Ayaw kong matawag ako nang professor ko kapag class discussion.

During class discussion I tried to understand our lessons pero walang pumapasok sa utak ko.

It seems so easy for my classmates at parang ako lang ang nahihirapan kaya mas na-pressure ako.

Anyway, I still manage to survive hanggang sa lunch break na namin.

I'm looking forward to meet Maxie again. And she told me na sa library kami magkita so I will go there.

Parehas kasi ang oras nang lunch break namin kaya pwede kaming magkita ngayon.

"Dude, wanna eat together with us?" tawag sa akin nang classmate ko.

"Maybe some other time. I'm kind of busy right now" I declined at agad akong pumunta sa library.

Nag ikot-ikot ako sa library bago ko nakita si Maxie and she's just sitting in a corner while reading something.

"Maxie" tawag ko sa kanya kaya napatingin sya sa direction ko.

"Ian, sit down. We need to talk about something" seryosong usal nya.

Tumango lang ako at umupo sa tapat nya and of course hindi kami masyadong tabi.

"What is it about?" tanong ko naman.

"You told me earlier na pinalayas ka nang Mommy mo dahil mababa ang grades mo, right?"

Oh, I'm a little bit disappointed. I thought she's going to allow me to be her boyfriend now.

"It's embarrassing, but yes. I'm having a hard time. Hindi ko kasi maintindihan ang mga lessons namin" Napayuko na lang ako dahil duon.

Baka ma-turn off sya dahil duon.

This is embarrassing. The girl I'm courting was smarter than I am.

"Please, don't be turned off because of this. I-I'll study harder" I'm really worried kaya inunahan ko na syang mag salita.

"I'm not that narrow minded" she looks offended dahil sa sinabi ko. "I can understand you. Every student has their own way of learning. You know what is eight multiple intelligences, right? I'm not judging you. In fact, I'm thinking to teach you personally" dagdag pa nya.

She sounded so much like a teacher when she told me that.

Anyway, My girl was a future educator.

"We're taking a different course. Hindi din magkatulad ang subjects natin" I pointed out since Business Management ang kinukuha ko at sya naman ay Educ. and her major was Special needs education kaya I'm sure na naka focus sila sa mga disabilities and such.

"That's why I need to know your subjects. Pag aaralan ko ang mga subjects mo sa bahay or kapag may free time ako kapag nasa trabaho ako and everyday ay ituturo ko sayo ang mga nalaman ko sa mga subjects mo" She suggested.

"I don't want to waste your time. You're busy enough as it is. And I'm sure hindi na ako mag-iimprove" I declined since alam ko naman na kahit anong gawin ko ay hindi na ako gagaling o tatalino.

"Don't be like that. Alam kong kaya mong mag-excel. Mapapataas mo pa ang grades mo and sooner you will make your parents proud too" She encouraged and honestly, I feel so touched that I almost cried right there and then.

"Am I not disturbing you?" I was worried since pag sasabayin nya ang pag ri-review sa mga subjects ko pati na din ang pag aaral nya, Ang trabaho nya then after that tuturuan nya pa ako.

"Don't worry. This is also an investment for my future. I need to be knowledgeable enough kapag mag tuturo ako" paliwanag nya naman so in the end ay pumayag na din ako.

What did I do in my past life to be this lucky now?

I found an amazing girl.

I'm courting her and I'm actually getting some benefits out of her. I don't mean to sound like a jerk or something like that but this is true.

The girl I'm courting will teach me personally to help me improve my grades.
