We're Waiting For A Fall

'Come on, you better switch out with someone too. You've been driving for ages.' They coaxed. I bit my lip.

'I guess.' I pulled over and Mike clambered into the seat, grinning at me and pulling Tony after him.

'Oh no you don't.' I said, tugging Tony out of the cabin and shoving Casey in after Mike. 'I don't want to crash.' Tony poked his tongue out at me and handed me my drink. 'Don't stick that out at me. I don't know where it's been.' I looked at his mouth warily, edging away.

'What? Scared it was shoved down your brother's throat?' Tony laughed, heading off to the back lounge. I heard the telltale sign of reckless driving and assumed that the rest of the guys were there, playing one of the many games. I sipped my drink slowly and turned on the wifi connector I had bought. I scrolled through twitter, RTing some tweets and replying to fan questions. I answered a few emails, with I thought wasn't the best as the room had started spinning and my background, usually a picture of Kellin making a goofy face, had blended into a rainbow.

'We need gas!' I heard Mike say, before passing out.

'Hey, babe,' a voice whispered in my ear.

'Hmm?' I replied in my still dizzy state. What was Kellin doing here? 'Where is everyone?' I slurred, probably sounding more like a baby trying to say his first word than a fully grown man.

'Shh, babe. They're all gone now.' Kellin slammed his lips against mine, and I registered that we were in my bunk. I was currently lying underneath Kellin, with one arm dangling outside the bunk and the other resting on Kellin's lower back. The bus was still moving, which made me think I had been knocked out for a while - what drink had Mike given me?

'Come on, babe.' Kellin whispered huskily, nipping at my bottom lip. He moved his head to my neck.

'No, no, don't do that. It hurts.' I tried shoving Kellin away, placing both of my palms on his chest.

'Sorry,' he chuckled, 'I just want you so much.' He returned to kissing me, sliding his hands under my shirt.

'Kellin!' I protested once again. But he didn't listen.

Kellin

I saw the Booger drive back into the gas station, a few seconds after my own bus had just finished filling up the tank - it turns out gas was the reason they had forced me back on. And that I had to be there for bus call, but that was neither here nor there.

'Hey, Mike,' I called, jogging over to where the lanky man was getting out of the vehicle. My five dollar fifty Monster was in my hand, only a few sips taken of it. 'Why are you back here?'

'Gas,' he replied simply, filling up the tank.

'Cool.' He shrugged.

'Hey, Kellin!' My own band members called me back and rolled their eyes at me.

'Oh, come on guys.' I pleaded.

'No, you can see Vic at the next venue. You barely ever spend any time with us.' I sighed, knowing that Justin spoke the truth.

'I'm sorry, guys.' I said, wrapping each of them in a hug individually. I felt bad, really bad. It hurt me to the core. I had Vic basically all to myself twenty-four seven at home, and I couldn't give him up for a few weeks?

But what happens we you're not on tour together? You could go months without him. The selfish voice in my mind nagged. But I found myself saying, 'You guys want to do something tomorrow? Laser tag or something?' instead. I hopped on the bus and didn't take a look back at Vic's bus. He would be fine.
